I'm not an advocate for repro wings, but in terms of the real ones, it is actually easier to fit second edition wings even to a pony with first edition slots than try to fix the original wings to the original slots. I would still keep them or sell them rathere than throw them, but the second edition wings have a different kind of wing fixing that makes it easier to add or remove wings, and that means the tabs are different and not coloured. It's much easier to repair second edition wings as well. All my flutters have real wings, but some have repaired second year wings.TBH as much as I love flutters, I really hate the first edition fixings. You basically just have to look at them for them to break.
