Neither Did I , until recently someone showed me this one ,I was on the fence about the pose, but then I saw Champion Horse 1991 and second version 1994 Black horse and I caved in for it and I added HoND and Crystal Horse (same but with pink hair ,purple socks 1993 )
so I have 4 now on this pose ,they fall very easy, I think they did not use it ever again beside the 3 horses

and HoND was 1995 and last one on this pose, they were supposed to have made a Grey colored one but it never happened .

What a lovely collection, well done!

I had several Barbie horses when I was little. Allergra and especially Champion were my favourites. I renamed Champion Cobalt, after the stallion in the "Saddle Club" books. I've also got a Dixie foal with its original box, which I bought in a charity shop a few years ago. I just couldn't leave it behind.

One of the things I loved doing with my Barbie horses was putting their hair into elaborate plaits. The horses (unlike ponies, sadly, which were mostly too small) were just the right size for it. I remember doing tiny little plaits, then braiding those plaits again... and again... till I had one large plait made out of many, many little plaits.

I'm heading to have armies of Sun Runner (3) Rosebud (3) Star Stepper (3) I can leave them behind if they come up for cheap

which is a trap because their shipping is sometimes more than the horse itself LOL

It is actually kinda of ironic, that many of the horses were made in Mexico and they were not for sale there ,if they were ,I could have not missed them , because I was buying dolls in the 80's so I'm sure Mexico did not get the horses.

since 2 months ago, middle of September

I received some I have been waiting for since like I began collecting these

Received 3 used ones from Netherlands, 2 used ones from UK and 2 more MIB from within USA

Blazing Trails Barbie is so beautiful! I think this a set I will end up purchasing as well. I love her outfit and hair. And the horse is so pretty too!

That short a time?! You are as bad a binge-collector as me! With a higher standard of quality than me though.

I especially like the MLP backgrounds in this round of pics! You are going to need a new G4 calendar, did you pick one out already? Recommend for me please, haha.

In the one shot it looks like Barbie is getting run over by the horse, haha.

I especially love the fringed saddleblanket and the way you have the horses posed with each other nose-to-nose like that.

LOL Yes that is a good way to put it, Binging on these horses LOL
but it is coming to an end ,only waiting for one more parcel and that will be it for the year, the mail has already gotten very bad, some domestic priority parcels do not get tracked at all until the day they are out for delivery, priority is taking 7 or 8 days now sometimes .
so it is taking a dent on the fun of getting mail LOL.
and also there are few to find and they will be pricey and hard to come by, my wish list has 10 more horses

Don't worry there is always another quadruped for next year!

I'm having a hard time sliding down the slippery slopes of zebras, elephants, and giraffes and while I've been resisting some really great pigs, the other day I got one and regretted a couple I managed to resist the days before that...help! hoof addictions...

I thought I was resisting bears OK but at like $1 each I grabbed several for their outfits that I can adjust to fit ponies and when I bagged up a lot of plushes for storage I found quite a few bears among them...

This week on the way to court I found a pink fisher-price "doodle bear" with a little tiara, tutu ruffle and shoulder ruffles sewn in face-down in a puddle in the rain and I picked her up and hung her in the shower. Doesn't even have any hooves! What? Noooo....but she IS cute though.

You'll get hooked on something next year don't worry, tee hee.

Good question. I'm sure I've still got Champion, but I'm not sure about Allegra. I think my mum might have given her, along with a lot of other Barbie things, to her friend's daughter.

come over and play , I have to go and check these shelves daily, LOL ,I move them around ,i will rearrange them again soon
i want to get them lined up from top to bottom ,top ones as being the most vintage and so on

Ahh Allegra is super neat designed ,it was love at first sight with her, now i need her pink sister

Champion was super hard to avoid ,lol he was not on the pose and then there was no other black horses like him on the pose i was collecting with long hair as his, so I caved in for him eventually when one came up at a good price

and I'm waiting for the first release of 1991 that I had to get too,since there are no more horses on his pose made, so decided to get him on his 1991 release as well

can't wait to see him with his red accessories soon

How many colours are there of the dynamic pose then? And are there variations on the colours? I have three - I got them out last night, I am sorting out my pony room and they weresupposed to be thelast things to go out but I missed them and my FSF:D
