Still waiting on the middie my husband bought for Valentine's Day. She's been stuck in Hong Kong for a week because of the Chinese New Year. She finally left yesterday. Maybe she'll be here by next weekend?

*sigh*
I am so frustrated right now. After 5+ months my impatience really got the best of me and I emailed DDE to find out what was going on with my elfkin I'd ordered back in September. Apparently he came in at some point but there was a mistake and it was a girl body. So now I'm stuck waiting another 4-6/8-12 weeks for the correct doll to ship.
I've had a really hard time being nice in my emails, but I don't really want to take my frustration out on them, though I do wonder how long they had the 'wrong' doll before I messaged them and found out about it.

Well courtesy of this thread: http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,377085.0.html

I am now impatiently waiting for my Pipos Aloha to arrive. You guys have officially bjd'd me.

Is it bad I'm contemplating ordering eyes for my "next" doll when I order hers ?

TwistedRiver - that must be so frustrating ! :( makes you wonder if ypuld have ever been informed ?

Congrats on ordering your Aloha! Please do let us know when she arrives! And yes, frustrating does not even begin to describe it. I never was able to even get a straight answer on when the replacement boy was ordered, in one email it sounded like he had already, and in emails after that I was told he'd be added to their next order or if worse came to worse the one after that. *sigh* Giving them just a little more time before I start bugging them with the first of what will probably be weekly emails.
Did you order Aloha directly from Pipos or a different seller?

I ordered direct from pipos. We don't have any UK/EU dealers from what I can find, so customs fees would be in place no matter how I bought it.

That's a pain :/ the vagueness could be down to a genuine mix up or failing in communication, more than one person dealing with the enquiry. But not knowing on the customer end just makes you feel like you're not getting the truth.

Yeah my emails were answered by more than one person so I am sure a lot of the mix up was due to that.
Pipos is great. I ordered my sister Hannah's Ringo directly from there and he arrived in good time (for a bjd) and everything was perfect. I probably would have ordered my cheshire Valentine direct as well but he was sold out from Pipos and Denver Doll Emporium had him in stock and offered layaway which worked out perfectly for me.

To the best of my knowledge on the Arena no dolly or pony is treated as more or less than another, (that goes for their owners/parents too) so if you're waiting on a doll regardless of what doll, and are excited/frustrated with the wait I don't see why you couldn't post about it here. :)
