Wanted! / Equestria Girls mane event stage
« on: February 08, 2022, 10:17:12 AM »
Hello everyone! I am looking for the Equestria girls stage, either mint in box or complete in box. I do intend to open it but I wanna have all the little accessories. I’m also looking for the “American” version of the box which has a little round sticker that claims it’s a Kmart exclusive. I highly doubt there’s any other difference, it’s just Kmarts are almost out of business here and I would like to have it as a memento.

Hello everyone! The following items have been traveling with us to various meets, conventions, and flea markets for years now and might have the odd ding or scratch. If condition is important to you and you want a full cataloging of all the minor issues, please let me know and I'll gladly go into detail in the PM and even provide more pics! <3 I've embedded thumbnail views so clicking them should pop them out but its been literal years since I sold on the boards so forgive any clunkiness! Smoke free home, but not pet free.

Sigs & Site Support / Trouble accessing archives

Hi guys! I’m trying to check out some things on the pre-2012 section and it keeps prompting me to log in, which I do (even tried my old screen name though I’m pretty certain I changed it before the switch). I’m on a mobile device if it helps. <3

Customs / Fixing cut neck plugs
« on: January 07, 2021, 11:46:49 AM »
Hey everyone! I figured I’d leave this here because I figured customizers would have a better knowledge of the answer, but I’m totally OK if the mods need to move it/think I can find that answer on a different section.

When I open my ponies to clean out any rust or other yuckies, I of course cut the glue around the neck. But I have a handful where the neck plug broke off from the head it completely. I would ideally like to fix this in a way where myself or a future owner down the road could still take the head off instead of just permanently gluing everything back together. Any advice? I tried using something called Sugru which is a silicone putty, and that works for making hooks on your wall or other type of repairs as shown on their website, but it did not bond directly to the pony body. Has anyone experimented with say, rubber cement, or one of the flex tape adhesives or anything else that I should try?

Wanted! / :muffin: Pony/Muffins/Bubbles Robe in LG/XL
« on: March 04, 2018, 03:24:22 PM »
Hello everyone! In late 2016 we had an incident where my fiance and I lost several of our personal items. It was a very sad time in our lives and we lost a lot of irreplaceable items. While I can't do anything to recover those, I can work on some of the mass produced but now hard to find ones.

I'm looking for the grey :muffin: Pony (Muffins) robe that came out some years ago, pictured here:

I've been trying to find one for months with no bites. I'll take used, I can wash it! Please contact me if you wish to sell yours.

Wanted! / Canadian Lay's Do us a Flavor for our American ones?
« on: September 08, 2014, 09:07:32 PM »
Hi there! I'd love to try some of the Lay's Canadian Do us a Flavor chips as seen here:

https://www.dousaflavour.ca/

In exchange I offer you our four flavors:

https://www.dousaflavor.com/#!/

Here in the states they come in two bag sizes. If they come in the same sizes in CA, we'll most likely trade the smaller size bags.

Thank you!

Sorry for the photo quality. Today was the day I had set aside for picture taking, and it was overcast for most of it. >.< I can take better pics of details if requested. My sales are listed here: http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,359467.msg1253307.html

I do not have a want list posted. I collect all four gens and related merchandise. I will also accept money for anything here if you want.

Glitterbelle isn't sticky yet, but her body feels different. She still stands well, but her front leg is bent. Here's a pic comparing her to TT, in her same pose: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v16/Dragonessa/TradeSale/DSCN1535_zpscc781dce.jpg

Desert Blossom, Pineapple Paradise. Pineapple still retains her scent faintly, and her plastic is still in her tail, with some stray hairs having come out of it.

Babies Pink Sunsparkle and Romperooni. I don't know about any differences between releases of Romperooni but I can say this: She's identical to my first release collection one, and my mother found them together in a thrift shop, so its possible she came with Pink Sunsparkle in the Celebration Castle re-release.

Scooters and scooter accessories! The purple/white one is Cupcake II's and has its flag and helmet. The pink/orange one is Lullabelle II's and has her alternate color bag.

G1s:

Pony Corral / My MLP merchandise YouTube reviews!
« on: January 05, 2013, 06:56:11 PM »
Can't believe I never shared these on the boards! I filmed two reviews so far, one of the Twilight Sparkle boombox, and another comparing the two talking Celestias:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Ca2tvIuIOI

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ny8-VUGL7XU

As silly as they are, I'm quite proud. The boombox had its own feature post on EQD, and the second was tossed in a Nightly Roundup.

I plan on doing some more as time goes by, especially of the wedding castle that Paul bought but we just haven't broken open yet.

So this new Pinkie just popped up on my favorite news site:

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-NDiR_Mq1Vsw/UOdJTYrvn8I/AAAAAAABNw0/_6UY4XDZYvU/s1600/$T2eC16dHJGkE9no8iPGzBQ5NYn3)sQ~~60_57.JPG

She's only on eBay right now (and it turns out is bigger than a regular release but smaller than a Fashion Style, as per the auction description).

Sounds awesome, right?

Well, we've seen this before. This set. And this name:

http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/File:G3.5-pinkiepie-brush.jpg

http://www.shopping.com/my-little-pony-sweet/9XmuNxcRhln_xVUdWw5gBA==/info?sb=1

Look at that. They even gave the FiM version the same G3.5 standard brush, and the same blue body squigglies. XD

I gotta add those pics of the G3.5 book updated with FiM images soon.

Oh, and this isn't the first time Hasbro did this. Back when G3 went G3.5, they did this to Scootaloo:

Off Topic / Where I've been lately <3
« on: April 01, 2012, 03:19:18 PM »
Hi everyone! So many new faces on the boards, but I'm so happy to see many of my old friends are still around.

Firstly, I know its April Fools day, but I keep putting off making this entry for various reasons, so I'm doing it today. I promise this is all true and no joke at all. <3

Many of you know my screenname is this because my boyfriend loves Minty.

Steve and I are sadly no longer together.

After nearly seven and a half years, in October I finally realized as much as we loved each other, the relationship wasn't going to move on. We still lived in different states. He has to care for his chronically ill mother who won't let me move in with them, or want him to marry me.

It was the hardest decision I ever made in my life. I really hope none of you have to deal with the pain of breaking up with someone you still love, but there's no change, and we could spend the next seven years in the exact same positions. After all these months I'm finally starting to move him into a friendship role, and becoming less sad that seven years of "when we live together" and "someday" will never come to fruition.

Around the end of October, a friend from my local Brony group (the one BroNYCon was born from) and I started to become closer. I spent a couple of months in uncertainty as to where it was going as my feelings for him grew, and in December he admitted to me his were as well.

On January 7th, the night of BroNYCon, he told me he loved me for the first time. <3 His name is Paul, Brony name Mr. Disco. He's been nothing but kind and gentle and understanding with me as I move from one chapter in my life to the next, and I couldn't be more grateful. In my relationship with Steve, he was my best friend. And with Paul, we're quickly forming a similar bond, due to the fact that we have much more than Ponies in common. And when your lover is also your best friend, you have a very special thing indeed.

Some of you will be meeting him at the Maryland Meet, an event that he's just as excited for as our next regular Brony meet.

Quick picture of us (taken by Kar Red Roses): http://twitpic.com/8p7pma

Otherwise, I've been pretty good. Still working in the bakery, and helping out with BronyCon and our BroniesNYC meets when I have the chance. While I do run into some negative comments from Bronies on the internet, the ones I refer to as my Brony Family have welcomed me and my weirdness openly, and I love them as much. We've been through so much since January its hard to believe such little time has passed.

I do miss this dynamic as well, though, and will try to pop by the boards more often now. <3

Hope everyone is doing well, and I look forward to getting to know the new faces as well!
