I wish I could go. Unfortunately I have to work during the tv showing but I can dvr it. We don't even know who's taken the best of breeds yet but I have a good feeling for the skye terrier this year. I'll have to make a more updated guess as the group winnings come in.

I didn't even realize it was on!

tonight and tomorrow night, half each night.

Go greyhounds! I'd watch if I could...

Having another psychic at the same time moment...

I didn't know it was on either! I like watching dog shows.
-
Thanks for the heads up. I missed the past few shows ('cause I never pay attention to when they do it). I'll watch it with Little Stomper #3, who just loves doggies. ^.^
-
Yep I'll be watching it.
-
I wanted to but could not find it on my channels. I must of not had that channel. I do not have cable and only what the attena brings in for free.

The hound group was taken by a lovely American foxhound. The toy group by the affenpinscher. Non-sporting by the bichon, who's groomer could have done a bit better imo, little choppy around the head. And the herding by the Old English sheepdog. Out of those I'd like the foxhound to win.
Sorry mlp4me, I wasn't impressed by the greyhound that took the breed win. Yours has better form than him
Here's the website for results and photos.

Sadly, we discovered we don't get the channel broadcasting the show. :(
-
I never catch these when they are on xD Always fun to watch :)
Looks like the toy breeds were yesterday.
-
Well the dvr didn't record for some reason. Of course, I look forward to watching something and it all goes to hell. The least they could do is have their website actually working.
-
Yay for the Japanese Chin and pug!! I didn't watch it, but my mother did and remarked about how cute the Chin was and beautiful the pug was. We have a chin so we are very partial to that dog, but I also owned pugs and they are just the most wonderful dogs ever.

I've only been able to catch the last three groups. I was unimpressed with the Portuguese Water Dog  And the working group is my favorite. So many gorgeous dogs! But... that one? Eh.
For the Terriers so far I like the Kerry Blue.
-
Kerries are so cute. ^.^
*is sad to miss out*

The results are in...
Non-sporting: Bichon
Sporting: German wirehaired pointer
Working: Portuguese water dog
Toy: Affenpinscher
Herding: Old English sheepdog
Hound: American foxhound
Terrier: Smooth fox terrier (same one that took this group last year)
Reserve best in show goes to the Old English, and best in show to the affenpinscher!
I can't say I'm surprised. Terriers have a history of winning Westminster and the affenpinscher is kind of a toy breed terrier like the yorkie. I was really pulling for the good old-fashioned foxhound though. A real dog without all the pomp and circumstance. They remind me of days when you could tell a person by their horsemanship and their dogs. Not that I lived in those day.
