Pony hunting in Netherlands/Belgium/France and Germany!

Hay everypony!

My husband and I are traveling for three weeks in these countries. We leave the US and arrive in Amsterdam April 17th early, and training to Lisse. From there we'll go through Belgium and northern France into Germany. Then traveling back up into Amsterdam. Our plans are flexible and I'd like to try finding ponies while we're there. In addition to arranging a swap with Arena members (see link in sig for details), I'd also LOVE to pony hunt as we hitch from place to place. My question is...

Where should I look for vintage (G1 and G2) ponies in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Germany? Are there second-hand markets in certain towns on weekends, for example? Thrift stores? Other possibilities?

For the Netherlands and the Flemish part of Belgium you can look for second hand stores which are indicated with 'Kringloop' or 'Tweedehands'  in it. Lisse (ooh close to me!) has a secondhand store called 'Kringloop de Driesprong' and it has a toy section

Fleamarkets are a monthly thing here. They're indicated with 'Kofferbakmarkt', 'Vlooienmarkt' or 'Rommelmarkt'. Those are probably in the weekends

I've already told you about the infamous King's-day fleamarkets. Those are on April 27th in each.and.every.town, but only in the Netherlands.

You can perhaps try this website: http://www.meukisleuk.nl/ I however recommend to use google translate because all is in Dutch. =P

Thanks, Charmypony! We're going to try to spend several days in northern France, but I don't know what towns yet. Probably won't make it to Paris, but I heard that city is full of tourists anyhow and hardly any French people!
