Just received Sea Flower today. Prior to adopting, I knew the majority of Sunshine ponies now have frizzy hair.
Since it was braided, I hoped it wasn't too bad!
I used the iron method in attempt to calm the frizz and straighten the waviness from the braids.
I'm content with how she turned out, but her tail is piecey and it doesn't look like her hair will be style'able!
Still happy to have her in my collection.

Oh she looks so good! Congrats!
-
She looks beautiful: I think you did a great job!
-
She looks much better! Seaflower is a beautiful pony, congrats.
-
Congrats! She looks especially cute with her bright pink!
-
hopefully she still changes hair colour now that you have flat-ironed her... it's a risk...

Yeah, I read about that too! I didn’t get to test it today as the sky was overcast. Tomorrow will be sunny and I’ll post a follow up!

She looks so beautiful! You did a great job with her hair :) Even if it doesn't change color now, it may have not changed before you treated her since yours is pink when it's supposed to be white ;) Congrats on your beautiful pony :D

She looks wonderful. She's one of my faves from that set. Well done! :3

She's such a pretty pony.

Thank you so much to you and everyone else in this post for your kind words! I could be wrong, but I thought some Sunshine ponies had a light pink streak that changed to hot pink, while others in the set had a white streak that changed to hot pink as well! Still waiting for prime sunshine to see for myself, haha.

Nope, they all had white to begin with :) Color changing hair can get stuck at a color. Seaflower seems to have the worst of the problem. Here (https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/74309462579940390/) is a minty pic of her, there are some others floating around too. Shoreline also has this problem.

But Seaflower and Shoreline both have lilac to purple stripes. The backcard shows that Mainsail was planned to have lilac as well, but that was changed sometime down the line. The MoC pic on the wiki shows that she has purple hair on card.

Actually, I am wrong. The Scrapbook says that some ponies had pale pink streaks but they could fade. Sorry about that :(
-
I think her hair looks gorgeous. You did a really good job of straightening it. Congrats, she is stunning :lovey:

They weren't sold here so I've never seen one from new but my Sea Flower has pink hair still in the streak. Its a stupid hasbro idea to put fading pink in the pony hair that is going in the sun *sigh*
On topic - the transformation is amazing, she looks great :D
