Title: Please show me your Brush 'N Grows!
Post by: toyjunky on April 03, 2018, 09:15:30 AM: I told myself (and my husband) a week ago that I didn't want any brush 'n grow ponies. Long story short and a return trip to a swap meet later, now I own four. :P

So I would like to see what you have done with all that pony hair. Did you curl it, braid it, leave it straight?

I keep her tail short, about as long as her mane when I hold her facing upward, so that her tail doesn't get in the way. I keep her, Salty, and a bunch of vaguely useful things on my nightstand next to my bed.

Here's Curlylocks and Ringlets. Still need Braided Beauty and I'd love to have Pretty Vision.

These girls are so lovely. Their hair is so thick and soft and I think they're kinduva an underrated set.

Post by: Ponyfan on April 03, 2018, 12:34:56 PM: Here's my childhood Braided Beauty. I've always tried to keep her tail short to save wear and tear on the mechanism that makes the Brush and Grow's tails grow longer. She's still in really good condition for a childhood pony.

I like Brush and Grows. I'm a bit obsessed with pony hair, so I have a few too many o.o. At last count I had three Twisty Tails and two Pretty Visions...and if I had the space, I would so have more. I don't have photos of all of them, but here are the ones I do...

Finally, I haven't yet managed to get my childhood Braided Beauty MIB yet, but I did get Stargleamer in the UK box last year, which was very cool :D I am very proud of her. Here she is:

Only curly locks has had her hair done so far. They all have such pretty hair, so I’m really taking my time deciding what hairdos to give each one.

I have another Curly Locks and a MOC Pretty Vision from overseas not pictured, so give me another Twisty and Bouquet and I'll have two of the whole set! Its funny how I've lost track of who I have.

I approve. You can never have too many.

And you definitely need a European walking pose Twisty to round off the collection xD

I feel a bit sorry for her because it is a bit of a silly name for such a lovely pony. She hasn't had a spa day yet as I am undecided whether to try to fix her mechanism or not as she doesn't work any more.

Hrm. My Braided Beauty had adventure, hair and all. She's surprisingly sturdy xD. She came to school with me a lot when I was a kid. I loved all that hair xD. I was a do hair and then have an adventure kid ;)
