Trading Card Info. Please

I want to collect cards. Can someone tell me the difference between the trading cards and the game cards. Which would be better to collect?

This is the CCG Wiki page.  It shows what they all look like and how to play.  These cards all have the same back (like a deck of playing cards) with artwork and info on the front. (A handful of character cards are double-sided)
