Trading G1 playsets for others?

I got a couple of duplicate playsets, the nursery and perfume palace. The nursery is nearly complete and since I know they are a pain to ship cost wise, I was wondering if trading for other common playsets would be better? Just paying postage. I already got these two and since I'm missing the other playsets, like the boutique, show stable, perm shop and dream castle. If I can't unload them I may just keep them at my dads. What are your thoughts?

i have a couple duplicate g3 playsets.  and would love the older  ones myself.. lol  i think if there small enough you might be able to  ship them in the flate rate  boxes for cheaper shipping i know the ones i have are too big for that. but maybe if no one wants them  keept hem unitll you go to a meet,  a  pony con? and see if anyone wnats to trade?

I have some G3 playsets that I would love to find new homes for...if you are interested in G3 I'd love to trade for G1 playsets that I don't have

I think that's an interesting idea Its paying for the item and then the price of shipping on top of it which can put people off so you could perhaps find someone with duplicates of other G1 playsets for yours - particularly the nursery its always popular. I guess the best idea is to put the option out there in the Trade forum and see if you get any response.

Ah, I never remember the trade forum! Thanks for that idea, Hathorcat! I'll give that a shot! Going to see what accessories I have extras of and see if that sweetens the pot!

the only extra show stable I have is just a shell missing all the doors and other stuff , I am gonna make it into a book store someday.
