Yay, Coloratura! The shimmery effect is interesting I guess. I wish her dark blue parts of her hair were darker. I'll definitely need her though.

Yay, another pony who isn't Mane 6! These are pretty cute, I'll probably get all of this release. I don't mind buying more Mane 6 if they're different enough to justify it, like this and the Water Cuties. ^.^

I have a Celestia that was once pink but now only her head and wings are pink and her body is a sort of off white lol

I would of called this look pearly. Yay, new brushable character! Do wish her coloring looked a little closer to the design on the package. But still, yay, new character! And she's Blue!

I with they would have used Fluttershy's old eye pattern for these, I'm still deeply in love with those prototypes! I hope we see rainbow dash and rarity too! I just love the way the translucent ponies plastic feels! Hopefully these don't break down or get rock stiff over time! I can see them discolored so I'm probably putting these safe in my display case when I buy them!

I think I must be more drawn to colors than textures or something like that, because I own several Fluttershy variants but I am not particularly drawn to this one. But it'll be nice to have Coloratura, even if she's a pony that really should come with clothes...

I've always been a sucker for translucent. I really don't want my pony herd to grow... but I don't know how I could resist these cuties. I do hope the whole mane 6 is released though, I would like the full set.
:D I hope at the very least Applejack is released, since she's my favorite mane6.
(Like I have FS RD and TS glittery ponies, and it bugs me that those are the only 2 out there).

Protos of a pearly Rarity and pearly AJ both turned up fairly recently, so it could be either of them.

I would have cared about this so much more a couple years ago. ^^; Just like I probably would have bought the EqG minis if they would have come out in the beginning and not now. I still want Coloratura but I find myself only really wishing for normal, gimmick-free ponies anymore...

They sort of look like a crystalized version of the actual pony version, like the ponies were when the Crystal Empire first appeared and everyone was crystalized for a second when King Sombra was destroyed. I'd have to see it in person but I think Rarity might be pretty if they made her.

Maybe I'm wrong (I would be pretty happy if I was), I have yet to see or hold one of them in person, but I've heard people compare the mane quality/texture to the hair they've been using for the tails.
The only post-wedding series pony I have is FS SunShim, and her tail suffers from the new hair and I am not a fan of it at all. I'm just hoping they were being cheap for the poseable ponies in preference of the joints and it's not a permanent switch.

If they are changing then it's likely Polypropylene doll hair.. not the nicest stuff to put on ponies. with short hair.. but it could be a poor quality of that type of hair because the Poly I have from RDUS is not really that bad... but I don't care to work with it...
I'm hoping for a lot of new characters in this type. Think about some of the customs people will make XD

While I'm pretty sure the first wave with Coloratura and Starlight will make it to the US, I'm worried about the second wave. Hasbro has a habit of not releasing the second wave of the second set within a theme. That's why we never got Holly Dash and I'm betting the ribbon version of Starlight won't make it either.

My Divine Shines look fine but I know they sometimes have issues. I'm hoping the reason it took so long to release these is they wanted to make sure they were more stable.

Definitely. I wish they would have made some of the characters from the Crystal Empire in this way. Cadence and Rarity and then some of the ponies from the Empire. I'm totally buying them though. I need to make a Dancing Butterflies custom with one of the Fluttershies and Bright Eyes from a Coloratura.

Ponies are usually $5 here, so it's not that far off the mark. I think the deal breaker is that most people don't want to buy all those extra ponies if all you really want is one of each new character.

Yes, except these have been marked up to be inline with the retail price. If the stores are selling the singles for $4.99 a piece then of course they are not paying $64 for a box of 12 otherwise the store wouldn't be making any money.

Weren't the Pinkie Pie Boutique ponies also mismatch free? They seem it to me.
