ok i figured out what it is. you know when pony plastic discolors and turns neon pink.
that's what happened with this toys. i some of the pink out with acetone, but i think it's just eating the plastic.
really stinks, cuz this was the crowning jewel of the box.
sad face.

If you could have a small glass figure of any animal what would it be and what color?  Or are small glass figures just not your thing? 

Oooh....a green glass owl, or a handblown glass dragon would be awesome!

I'd have to agree with Daiy, a glass owl or dragon would be cool. I used to have a blown glass wishing well, it had a teeny little bucket. It was a really cute thing to display. I don't know what happened to it though, I think I gave it to a neighbor who was a older woman and she collected blown glass.

Well Rosierjay, if I am your partner whatever it is will be fine as is. I honestly don't mind most of my items with a cosmetic flaw, it gives them personality. My gargoyle (he's in my collection photo) I bought because his wing was broke in half. The cashier was nice enough to let me have him for less, and gave me the broken off piece. Alot of things I have collected seem to have something wrong with them, even if minor. So don't sweat it if I am your partner.

Aww, rosierjay, that stinks. It's so disappointing when an ebay item finally arrives and it's not what you were hoping for. Like everyone else said, I'm sure your partner will still love it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who hasn't finished shopping yet! I have some bids out on ebay but nothing has ended yet.

Sometimes something off colored becomes a special favorite because it is unique.  And they could always get a normal one in the future.

I loooove small figures!  My desk is littered with them. xD  And I'd pick either a tiger, horse, or kitty cat.

i love small figures, but i'm kinda clumsy. and have dropped alot of my toys. so glass isn't usually a good idea for me.
(all my plates are plastic too)
