I really like the tail hair on these, the color change is a fun extra and it's still nice and soft after a couple weeks of repeated brushing. Surprisingly seems to be better quality than not only previous McPonies, but also the regular ones Hasbro is pushing in stores right now D:

the purple one reminds me far too much of luna/twilight/cadence, but the yellow one is kind of nice??? plus if you can believe it we don't actually have a brushable pinkie pie around here, so there'd be no extras in that case @_@

we have that anna doll C: her hair has held up remarkably well, since the braids keep it from getting tangled. i would just watch out for the skirt; the waistband has a tendency to separate from the fabric after some time. but my 3-year-old daughter has had her almost half a year now and she's still in pretty good shape!
if price isn't an issue, the 17-inch ones from the disney store look like they're really nice quality, and their faces are the closest to the movie i've seen. you can also try a repaint of a less expensive doll if you're feeling confident n_n

I'd love to see someone make customs (or improvements) out of these!
i want to fill one with layers of coloured sand, like the souvenirs at the tourist traps on the beaches here

These are a little too early-2000s Hot Topic for my taste, haha. I like Lisa Frank Scootloo a lot though!

They are certainly very pretty, and I've been considering buying a few of them for my daughter for when she gets older. The only reason I'm hesitant though is because I've been burned by Monster High's terrible doll hair before, so I will ask: is glue seepage an issue this time around? Which dolls have it? How does the hair hold up to repeated brushing - does it get frizzy and splintery fast like kanekalon, or stay soft and silky like saran?
The outfit details are to die for, and I definitely like the slightly shorter, wider bodies compared to MH, but bad hair is a deal breaker for me when it comes to dolls x_x

like punk but with the saturation slider amped up as far as it will go and all the spikes replaced with rhinestones i love candy-colored hair with hairclips and bright neon colors and childish accessories, a lot of which i make myself
