Hello,
I'm Otter / Regina, I'm 27 and live in Illinois in the US.
I got into ponies when I was a wee tween watching g1 on youtube and then MLP:FIM came out and absorbed my life for a few years. I took a break from ponies but got back into them after starting to 3D  model poses over the last year (I liked the takaras and so I modeled those as a doll, then some other g1-style ponies)

I don't really have a "collection" as it were, I have So-Soft Buttons and a couple of g4 ponies. I do look for ponies when I visit thrift stores but ofc they're just not very common, especially the older ones. I'm in a masters program rn and can't really afford to spend money on ponies online or anything like that.

Currently I have a little project going on where I'm compiling information about MLP, especially the earlier generations, I also have a spreadsheet going of all of the ponies so I can organize by collection, name, pose, markings, colors, etc. A lot of info is relegated to old websites that are no longer updated, dead links, and increasingly old forum posts so I'm just kind of squirreling away what information I can find.
