Whats up with this pony? Venny related.

I have had this dark pink Cotton Candy. And I thought she might have been a Venny. So I got the blue venny cotton candy to go with her. But something seems strange about them.
They stand differently...

The strangest part is why would two ponies, that I would assume to be from the same mold, have diffrent feet?

Does anyone else have Vennys in this pose? What do thier feet look like?

Dark Venny has much smoother plastic then the dark pink one. But the dark pink one is also very played with.
How sure can we be that the dark pink Cotton Candy is a Venny?

Was that the one Potatomonkeys had out of curiosity? As for their eyes, they may have just been 'stamped' oddly, as the basic shapes do look the same. I don't have any CP Vennies to compare feet with though The colors do seem 'Venezuelan' at least (they seem to use the same ones, just mixing and matching them, and that looks like the same body color as some of the others we've seen).

Yup, this is the one Potatomonkeys had. There are enough simmilaries to make me think she is Vinny. But the feet are so strange. Why would they be like that?

As for her feet- I wonder if it's a year thing, like maybe one year they had FF CP ponies, and another year they didn't If they did release them over several years, it may explain why we've seen so many MIBs of certain Vennies, but none or very few of others since the MIB ones were mostly from a warehouse. Just my theories though

Still thinking there is a country out there we have not heard from yet. 
At the time That pink CC came up for sale she was still considered "unknown" Country.  Speculation
may have been possible Colombian at the time but I think that was sorta ruled out.
The Collector Pose Veny's I have seen all have their feet pretty closed together and that squared off look to them.

Its an interesting theory though. We have definatly seen a very small assortment of ponies, with one or two diffrent ones popping up. I think there are more that we have not seen.

I'm also a believer in the possibility of another unknown country out there - we shall see!

this is what i think too!

she is south american ~ there is something that links her to the venuzlean ponies in her looks a little, but i think she is from another country as she doesn't fit some how. that is unless there was a different run of the venuzlean ponies we have not seen yet.

i remember ember1 suggesting chile as a country of manufacture a while back?

I agree with you and ember1, PKW. I think it's very likely Chile produced some ponies too. There's definitely the fuzzy Venny eyes and pastel colors, but she looks like it's a completely different kind of plastic. At first I thought she looked more rubbery, like a Colombian, but now she looks more like a pony who's plastic has hardened up.

On a semi-related note, does anyone still keep in touch with potatomonkeys? She had such a beautiful collection and the Nightlight I bought from her is the crown jewel of my collection.

a while back someone said unknown country ponies were made in Isreal. I don't remember who it was that suggested that though.

I haven't seen her online since I got a MOC argi Truely from her about 2 or so years ago. This was when she needed money for her horse?

I haven't seen PM around since then either. I got a few lovely ponies from her as well and I wish I had been employed when she was selling, her collection was amazing!
