My first custom blythe <3

I have made my first custom blythe, a simply Mango. She is pretty much done <3 She still needs to have her pull rings attached, but I wanted to see if anyone have suggestions to some cute pull charms perhaps? That goes with the theme of course ^-^.

I need to cut her bangs as well as the factory did a poor job with that. I put her on the xs pure neemo body I had lying around that was supposed to be for Yeolume.. I am not using her stock body because hair and dust stick to her rubbery legs, uurgh, looks like that body has manly hairy legs because of that (I put it on a soft and fluffy blanket)..
I had some problems screwing her backplate back on though, on one side there is a tiny gap where it would not close.. I tried pressing it tightly together while I was using the screwdriver, hmpf, everything was lined up just fine as well. I wrote under the pics in flickr who I got the eyechips from if anyone wants to know x3 I am happy I managed to boggle the eyelids and do the perfect gaze correction (for me that is).

I kind of miscalculated how much of the painted eyelids would show, but hey, I am still satisfied and she is for me so no worries :3

Thank you everyone <3 I love her so much ^-^. Now I'm working on my next custom, on her I will do a alpaca reroot as well. I love blythe dolls so much :heart:  And I am happy I am able to do this myself as there is no way I could afford to buy custom blythes from someone. I wonder if some people do blythe art trades ^-^.

I'm pretty sure my next will be awesome ^^, I am done with the carving and I can do the painting and pastels. But I am still waiting for some eye chips and for the materials for the reroot. It will take maybe two weeks to get the stuff from coolcat, like the scalp.. I ordered black alpaca :D. She can use the original scalp temporary, but it's mint blue/green and not right for the theme I have in mind.
