The plot of the episode revolved around SWAT stopping a human trafficking ring. There was a young girl that they rescued. They were keeping her in police custody to protect her and try to get information about the bad guys. The problem was that she only speaks Turkish!

A young cop was trying to talk to her using a translation app on his phone. She said something, but the translation wasn't making any sense to the young cop. What she said included the names of two ponies. One had banana in her name and the other may have had sprinkles in her name. I really need to watch the scene again....

An older cop that has kids of his own stepped in to help. He asked the girl something about Swirly Whirly and Cherries Julbilee. Then older cop told younger cop "The problem isn't that you don't speak Turkish. The problem is that you don't speak 7 year old girl. Those are characters from My Little Pony. "

That clue lead the SWAT team to figure out the bad guys were hiding at the horse racing track.

It just aired a couple of nights ago. I love when MLP is mentioned in TV shows and movies. I couldn't find a clip of the scene on Youtube but you can watch it on CBS's website. The MLP reference is around 24:24
