So, I'm getting an iphone tomorrow.
I honestly don't know what to think. This is a first for me. I'm kinda scared.
I'll be able to text friends though, anyone I know who wants my number for texting, I'll give it to them I guess. Lol I dunno. I don't really know many people on the arena which is sad. I still have plenty of time to make friends though 

Also, if you guys know of any cool free apps, or even ones you have to pay for to suggest to me, that'd be cool.

Anything I should know about an iphone? I want to treat it with super duper good care.

Lately I've been pretty depressed so I'm hoping it makes me feel happy.

I jailbroke mine because the phone didn't do things I expected it to do - and really wanted it to do.  All the hard work has been done by the development teams, and you can always unjailbreak it.

I've had some version of the iPhone for the last four years and I love them.  I adore my iPad as well.  I know there's more functional products out there, but for simplicity, one can never go wrong.

I personally love my iPhone. The main apps I use are Al Jazeera (for news/international news) and Yelp for restaurant/spa/store reviews, addresses, and directions. Other than that, I mainly use it to surf the web and catch up on the Arena. Like I am now.

Haha, at first I'm just going to respond to your title. D:

I only have a iphone because it was a free hand me down. (I'm not going to say no to a free phone, and a $25/month bill).  My husband USED to have an iphone, and he had to jailbreak it to use it. Now he's been through a bunch of other phones, that provide a lot more than what iphone will. <__<; I doubt he'll ever have an iphone again.

ANYWAY

As for apps.
I only have a random game, and "sooner" which is a todo app. DX A "to do" app is a pure life saver to me, since I am bound to forget everything.

The only useful thing I can suggest is close apps when you aren't using them, because they will suck your battery dry. (Double clock the square button-- the only button -- and swipe up on the app). My phone wouldn't get through the day, until I had someone point that out to me.

I love the google maps app, I find it works way better than the built in apple maps. I have apps for all the craft stores that give me on-phone coupons, so those are awesome.

Yikes, are apple products not good or something? No one I know has ever had a problem with them before.

And there aren't free apps? I thought there were.

Well, basically I wouldn't be downloading multiple large video files. I'd likely just download some music or use youtube. Possibly ebay, browse the internet, etc.

I never had a Smartphone before, but I love my iPhone.

I have Google Maps, Geocaching, a few games. I play the LPS and MLP games a lot - probably my most used app. The things I use most are texting and the calendar (I have multiple calendars linked in so I can see everything at once).

All of my apps are free except 1 game I really wanted. There are TONS of free apps. A lot of companies have their own free ones.

I've had my iPhone for about three years and, I have to say, it's one of the best phones I've ever owned.

I use mine mainly for emails, texting, YouTube videos and Netflix.  I have a few apps like eBay, Soundhound, Tumblr, Skype, Steam, etc.

Also, if you feel comfortable doing it, I recommend jailbreaking it.  That gives you access to all sort of tweaks, tools, themes and other fun stuff.

Oh, and do yourself a favour and get an Otter Box or LifeProof case. :3

how does one "jail break" an iphone exactly. And what exactly is this? Is it like... a hack?
