best way to remove glue?

so i have a skating pony which removed the booties from and there are still some glue patches left on the legs, what is the best way to get these off? tried sandpaper (fine is all we have) but can seem to budge it. Based UK if that matters depending what methods/products. Thanks peeps x

Have you tried Acetone/Nail polish remover? It's worked for me every time.

i tried a bit of dabbing but perhaps soaking?? Might give that a go thanks hon

Be careful with soaking though, it could damage the plastic. I was overenthusiastic with acetone once, and it ended up 'chewing' into the plastic, giving the pony dents

you have to really go for it, give it a really good rub with some acetone and should come off.

thanks peeps just gone a little crazy on said pony and the elbow grease has worked! I think I was just a little scared to be too rough
