Four Elements (finished pics on page 3!)

So after I posted Starry Nights a couple of weeks ago, I landed a commission from someone on Google+.  It started as one pony, and then after working out the details for one for his wife, he came back and said "Ok, can it be a 4 pony set for the elements??"  He paid me the next day, and that has pretty much been my start-up bankroll for paints and brushes, and chipped in towards an airbrush.

Spark, the Fire Elemental Pony

Thanks!  I think a few of the metallic bits are going to need a touch up, but so far I'm pretty pleased with them :)

I tried to keep the symbols as similar in style as possible, but the buyer specifically wanted a filigree tree.  Spark's symbol is going to get a touch up tonight, because I forgot that I had metallic red when I painted it, and Terra and Naiad are going to get their tails put in.  Yay for hair!

They're really stunning. The gradients are lovely. And the way you have created actual symbols from the elements is really clever. Can't wait to oogle progress shots.   :biggrin:

What a lovely set, and I must say your Starry Night reminds me very much of the new Breyer one.  Well done and such a neat pony.
