Thank you both!  ^_^

EnaRocketQueen, :muffin: Pony is one of my favorites too.  Although I was surprised when I posted that I tried to call her the name that starts with a 'D' and it changes to a muffin image.  Anyway, I hope you have some good luck getting new ponies soon since it's been a while for you too.

kiwimlp, I think you need those two handsome boys in your collection too.  ;)  They are awesome.

Also, my regular Twilight Sparkle arrived today, fashionably late to the party.  I like her pose and how big her wings and horn are.

Here she is, with the boys behind her just cuz I wanted to photograph them again, heheh, they are very photogenic.

 Oh wow that's pretty big for a My Little Pony!

I can just imagine what that would look like in my pony room.

I hope they make more!  (My wallet hopes they don't)  I can resist a Pinky Pie... for now... but if they make any others....

OMG yes yes yes!  I love space and I have dreamt of being weightless.  I would love to go into space and see the stars.  Wow how amazing would that be!

Equally amazing would be exploring the bottom of the ocean and all the super creepy alien like creatures down there!  I love deep ocean life.  (To me, super creepy is a good thing)

Sign me up for both trips!  Just as soon as I figure out how to become super rich.  XD

Pony Corral / Re: Second baby hippogriff toy found?

Wait wait wait you mean there are hippogriffs??   :yippee:  I did not know this, I must have them all!

Sorry if I seem clueless but I haven't been paying that much attention to G4, I knew there was Gilda the griffin but I didn't know there were hippogriffs too.  I am so majorly obsessed with griffins (and any griff- creature) that I can not describe it!

So these are new but not quite out now?

Correct!  and these are just the babies.  We are getting at least one adult size and one megasize one (same size as giant Spike).  I predict these wont be out till the spring but I could be wrong.

And if hippogriffs make you excited, you might want to make time to go see the movie. ;)

Definitely want to see the movie!  It's gonna be hard to wait for these, and the adult one.  I want them right naow!   :P  But I've already ordered the megasize one (I think) from Amazon, I had to have it.

I will have a heard (or is it a flock?) of hippogriffs when they come out!  I really hope they come out in stores near me so I don't have to order them online.

Help Help! I am being dragged into G4 against my will! I do so love hippogriffs: I hope they come to SA...

You are probably right Wardah stamping the mold vs. painting = lots of lovely savings for Hasbro. From all I have read they appear to be all about the savings these days.

Sorry, I don't think there is any help.  I tried to resist G4 for a long time but I don't anymore.  Resistance is futile, muahahaha!  ;)  Especially with hippogriffs!

I could squawk about the fact that hippogriffs are supposed to have beaks, not horse muzzles, but I won't cuz they're so very cute.

Hello and welcome Meg!  That is a sweet story about your special Wigwam!  My childhood ponies are all very scruffy and well loved looking as well, but I wouldn't trade them for the world.  Soon you'll find plenty of new friends for your Wigwam, it's really easy to get hooked on pony collecting! ;D

Oh wow!     I just found this thread, these things are so cute!  At first I was "meh" because blind box/bag things are too frustrating and money sinking for me, and I wasn't fond of the proportions of these, the heads are big, I know that's the style but it's not my style.  But I kept reading and looking instead of going to sleep like I should have and as with all things pony, I got pulled in and now I like them.

I just ordered a clear glitter Snuzzle from Hot Topic!  :D  I'm thrilled to get a Snuzzle because she's so similar to Peachy and Peachy was my first pony (and in my childhood heard Snuzzle was male and married to Peachy).  I hope to some day have a Peachy/Snuzzle army.

I was tempted to buy a Lickety Split too but with how much I've been buying lately I decided that was too much for me.  I just had to have Snuzzle for the Peachy analog and future army.  XD

If I see them in stores I might pick up one or two for the fun of seeing who I get, but I'm not gonna try to collect them all, too expensive for me.  But I am really thrilled to see more G1 merch!!  That always gets me excited.  I just wish there was more variety in the characters they chose to feature.  I know I'm echoing what has already been said, but I strongly agree!  I'd LOVE to see some Twinkle Eye or Big Brother ponies!  Or any ponies, there's so many to choose from.

Hello Mewtwofan1 and Leave a Whisper, thanks so much for the warm welcome!

I will for sure check out the Arts & Crafts Corral for info on making customs, and I love looking at customs that others have created, so many are breathtaking, I wish someday I could make customs that good!

Heh, I have an entire room in my attic devoted to my ponies and other toy collections, and it's packed full.  I wish my ponies were better organized and displayed than they are right now, (some day they will be) but still I will for sure share pictures!

I agree, the only thing to be done is to get MOAR PONEHS!!  :frolic:

Pony Corral / Re: Sea pony fun add your sea pony pics
« on: October 01, 2017, 12:46:31 AM »
Aaahhh these new sea ponies are so cute!  I must have them all!  Hopefully I will be able to go shopping soon.  And if I can find any of these I will be adding my own pics.

I really love what this generation has done with the sea pony idea, they look like hippocampus!  Which always made more sense to me as a type of pony instead of seahorses.  Not that the original sea ponies aren't cute, but seahorses aren't related at all to actual horses.  We have regular earth ponies, and then unicorns, pegisi and alicorns, it makes sense to have all kinds of mythical horses, the one missing was the hippocampus, (we only had those three "merponies" in G1) and now we have it!  And they are so cute!  ^_^

It's been so long since I've had new ponies, I'm so happy!  Nothing exotic and not a lucky find, they're just G4's that I ordered on Amazon, but still new ponies none the less.  :)  Before this I only had two G4 ponies that I bought on a whim at the doll store some time ago, Rainbow Dash and Applejack with their symbols cascading down their legs and over one eye (not sure what you call those type of ponies - I find the new types confusing).

Now I have regular versions of Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Big Macintosh, Vinyl Scratch, Miss Pommel, :muffin: Pony Hooves, Maude Rock Pie, Princess Cadence, Shining Armor, Starlight Glimmer, Lyra Heartstrings, and Cheerilee, Spitfire, and a Twilight Sparkle who has glitter on her legs and tinsel in her hair.

Also not shown is glittery legs and tinsel hair versions of Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie.  (I'm not sure if I'm gonna keep those but I'm also not sure anyone would want them.)  I also ordered a regular version of Twilight Sparkle but she hasn't arrived yet.

The guys look funny with their hair in mowhawks, hehe, I kinda wish it was long enough to lay flat, but they're cute all the same.  Most of them have such nice silky hair, I can't wait to fix it nice.  But the guys hair isn't silky and neither is Rarity's, which is a bummer, I wonder why their hair feels different...

Now my collection truly does have all generations in it!  :accomplished:  But now I want to get so many more.  XD

Introductions / Hello, I'm RavenPaw and I'm a Pony addict
« on: September 29, 2017, 10:15:37 PM »
Hello everyone!  My name is RavenPaw.  That's the name of my original character pony persona anyway, so you can call me that.  :)  I live in a small town outside of St. Louis, Missouri, USA.

My Little Ponies are a huge obsession of mine, I have been collecting since I was four years old and my aunt and uncle gave me my first pony, Peachy and the Pretty Parlor.  I am now 35 years old and still have my original Peachy and almost all of the ponies I had as a child.  (Although the Pretty Parlor and other playsets I had as a kid needed to be replaced)  You would think that having collected for so long that I would have a huge collection, but sadly I don't.  I haven't collected continually all those years, I sometimes stopped to focus on other obsessions, or for financial reasons I can't buy every pony I want.  But I always come back to MLPs and I always will.  I have around 375 ponies and friends at last count, but I have a few more than that that haven't been counted yet.  I also collect anything and everything that I can find that has anything to do with MLP, plushies, stickers, blankets, bags, lunch boxes, and so on.  I also collect a couple other toy lines from the 80's, some other toys and plushies both old and new.

I remember taking Peachy and Baby Cuddles (who was Peachy's son in my mind) with me everywhere when I was very little.  Some other favorites from when I played with my best friend are Baby Tic-Tac-Toe (Known as Tic-Tac to her friends, she was the ring leader of a mischievous band of orphan baby ponies who ran a muck through our MLP kingdom, which is called Star Crossed Meadows.  My childhood best friend came up with the name.) Masquerade, Tic-Tac's uncle, who's nickname was Elvis because he had wild hair, Baby Moondancer, who I called Baby Moonshadow because I forgot his name when I was little, Galaxy, who is Masqurade's mate, Gypsy, my first and still one of my only UK ponies so far, and her mate Barnacle, and Tex, who is the single father of twins Milkweed and Tumbleweed (and who is known as the most eligible bachelor in Star Crossed Meadows ;) ).  And I could go on, but I think I've rambled enough *blush*

I am very interested in making custom ponies, I have lots of ideas, but I am artistically challenged, so I haven't made any yet.

As you can probably tell, I heavily favor G1 ponies.  They are the ones I grew up with, I have a deep emotional and nostalgic connection to them, I think they are the cutest, had the most variety in different types, and are just awesome.  But I collect and love all generations.  I have only recently gotten into G4 ponies, but I love them now too.  I adore Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Fluttershy, Big Mac, and Shining Armor.  I also love G3 because they look so much like G1 and they are so shiny and colorful, and G2 are cute and unique.

I used to belong to a MLP email group long long ago when the internet as fairly new and email groups were a thing, before and while G2's were out.  I can't remember why I got out of that, but I've always wanted to get back into a MLP collector group, but I just never have, until now.  My boyfriend is really awesome about tolerating my pony rambles, but it would also be great to be around other collectors.  So here I am!

Oh, and sorry I rambled so much.  *blush*
