Title: Lunar Eclipse
Post by: BlackCurtains on January 21, 2019, 09:14:40 PM: The last time I made this topic was in 2014! My pictures were better then... :pout:

Anyway!

Pics of the total lunar eclipse (don't call it a super blood wolf). Most of these were taken with my telescope, some were with a moon filter. I didn't stick around for the other half. It was very windy and cold and my camera was frustrating me.

Post by: Mewtwofan1 on January 21, 2019, 09:23:31 PM: I tried to watch,but it was a bit cloudy over my house. Looked good for the few times I could see it. Aperently the folks at our local science centre had a grand old time!
Next time something like this happens, I should probably dig my telescope out again for a peek. I love using it, but I don’t get to see too much.

Post by: Ponyfan on January 22, 2019, 06:36:56 AM: Great pictures. :) I tried to get a pic of the beginning of the eclipse but I don't have a telescope and my in my picture the moon looks like a ball with 2 beams of light coming out of it.
