I don't have him but I do like him! He has the best accessories.

One of my favourites.
I have him with factory curls and his hat,
and another who has been rehaired in the same colours but with straight hair and who has a bow-tie
They hang out with Tuneful
Love the customs mlp4me - maybe mine needs a crew.......... :)

I have two, both were baits one had his hat. One is turned into Quaterback and the other one who is badly discoloured is going to be Tornado.

Don't have the pony itself, but I do have the BMFC pin. The boys are hard to come across unless you're actively searching.

Best set of options EVER! I chose Blow Me Down for giggles. My daughter owns him. He's handsome, but I'm not sold on him.

I had the same reaction! Best ever POTD poll!
I ticked 'have him' but technically I don't. He's the only brother that I don't own. My sister has him, though, and our collection is a joint one, so I guess that counts.
Naynie found hers one summer at a carboot sale back in the 90s. There's kind of a story attached to it.
My sister was about eight I think at the time. The weekend before we'd been in Wales at the seaside, playing in the sea. We found a stranded starfish and between us we helped it get back out into the water. My sister named it Barnacle, because he was a pony she really liked.
We came home that Saturday. Sunday morning, at the carboot sale, there was Barnacle. Naynie immediately decided it was the starfish saying 'thank you'. ;)
Kids are cute, aren't they?
For that reason, I haven't tried to get one of my own. I can't compete with starfish magic Barnacle :)
Here he is. And yes, he came to us exactly as you see him here. :) With curl and accessories.

I don't think I should even try to follow up after Taffeta's lovely story! I got my Barnacle last October from Craiglist, a woman was selling her daughter's pony collection so I was able to get many beautiful ponies and become the second owner. I recently found another 2 weeks ago at the thrift store, he has discoloration and age spots but I think someone could get him looking great again.

Mine is German, he came from somewhere in Lower Saxony (via eBay). He's got a little custom son who was made by Pinkkittywinks. He also seems to have ended up being the guardian of the G4 baby seaponies.

Ahh how did I miss this? I got him last month at a pony meet! I traded brushable :muffin: Pony for him. I'd been expecting to get him as one of the last boys I get because he's more expensive than, say, Wigwam. I saw someone else make him Waterfire's boyfriend and that's a pretty cool pairing.

Really? He's pretty common and doesn't go for much more then ponies like Wigwam, Steamer or Quarterback.
I think the only ones who do go for more, aside from the German boys, are minty Chief and minty Trucker. Quite possibly Slugger.

I found Tex and Wigwam for $12 (I don't pay more than $15 for most boys if I can help it) but I hadn't seen Barnacle for much less than $30 ever in decent condition.
.....and of course a gorgeous Chief was my grail. Mine ain't bad but I do wanna get a bandana for him to hide his head/body mismatch.

I only have a "prepped bait" of him I bought off ebay, i.e. hairless, symbol-less. :(
Was wondering if I should re-hair and re-paint as Barnacle again or a Daddy Bow Tie (Tux)...
He's currently keeping Bow-Tie and Baby-Bow-Tie company, I guess it could be fun modelling a new pirate hat and bandana for him :biggrin:
