Title: Who in the U.K remembers Playdays t.v show
Post by: bright rabbit 1 on September 20, 2017, 02:22:20 PM
I wonder if anyone in the U.K remembers the T.V show Playdays.

I was just thinking of old t.v shows that I use to watch, and this came into my head.

Absolutely! In fact I keep getting the Mud Hunt song stuck in my head!!! Which is very annoying.

Yes! I love talking about TV programmes from my childhood, I could go on for ages but don't know if that'll take it off topic.
On topic: Was it Playdays that had WhyBird?

And there was also playschool, but that predates playdays and makes me old ;) My sister watched Playdays a lot though and if I had a day off school for any reason I would watch with her. My favourite was, I think, the Tent Stop. I hated the patch stop for some reason. Don't know why. And I remember Why Bird and was the tuesday girl's name Lizzie? (Dredges memory).

You me both, also remember play school and their many different shaped windows.

let's not forget the dot stop haha.

I think I have a patch toy some where that my mum made back in the day.

I remember Playdays, though I thought it was called Playbus. For some reason Why Bird seems to be everyone's fave. Playschool was slightly more for my age though.

I read that twice and nope, you really did say what I think you did. I have to ask the question...how were you part of a caterpillar? O.o

:lmao: Yes that does sound a bit odd doesn't it? I was part of a chain of kids pretending to be a giant caterpillar. I was second from last so not quite the bum. Almost the bum.  :slug:

What a great cv hit. 'I had a crucial TV role as a child actor. I was a caterpillar's almost bum'. Amazing.

I was a dancing rabbit onstage once, but I cannot match a tv caterpillar bum;)

Neither can I, I was the front of a horse, and let's just say that the one playing the rear end got a face full of gas
