Title: PC on G2s - MOC vs loose?
Post by: LuckyTwirlerina on February 12, 2014, 11:00:16 PM
Wondering what the values look like on a couple G2s, MOC vs loose:

Secret Tale
Sugar Belle

I'm getting them in a lot soon but I have nowhere near enough space to keep MIPs with the motherload of ponies headed my way, so if their MOC value is substantially more than loose, mint, with all accessories and card, then I'll be reselling... otherwise I may have to do a bad thing and decard them to save space  >_<

I suggest you sell them, not decard. ;) Tough it is your choice of course. :P

They do go more higher than the loose ones, but im am not sure of the price. 20$-35$?

I don't think there's a vast amount in it tbh, particularly when accessories are included. But as has been suggested, it might be better to sell them to a MIP collector and then hunt them down loose.

I think if the cards are damaged then that's a different story and of course they are your ponies to do what you like with. :)

I agree with Daffy; for any of the G2s which have accessories [harder to find accessories] their MOC price tends to be only a touch more than their loose and complete value. Its mainly because, oddly, they can show up more often MOC than they can complete and loose. However with the more common ponies which show up MOC a lot then its more just that the value is so low even on the MOC that the difference between loose and MOC seems very small.

They are your ponies and if you wish to decard then thats your call. However, you may wish to try and trade them for loose and complete versions first. However, from personal experience and my Good Weather & Sweet Clover I know thats not as easy as it sounds!

Secret Tale MOC - $14
Secret Tale loose & complete - $7-8
Sugar Belle MOC - $12
Sugar Belle loose & complete - $7-8

They will run not far off the same loose and MOC; about $14-15 MOC and $12 loose and complete.
