I don’t think it is; it’s just one of those concave open mouths like the newer figures have. :/ The effect from the front is a tongue lolling out of her mouth.

News from tonight's Kotobukiya stream for MLP!

Sunset Shimmer got an update, with her painted sculpt being shown off. This should mean her preorders will begin sometime soon, and along with them opening we'll know her release month.

They also announced some new figures. First up is the limited edition variant of Twilight Sparkle, with glittery translucent hair and purple skin more similar to EqG, just like what Pinkie got.

I'm certainly excited for the princess figures! They're still a bit pricey for me but I adore the Celestia and Luna outfits, even if I wish Luna's was a bit lengthier.

Pony Life calendars are at the Dollar Tree! It's so nice to see ponies return to the dollar stores finally. For some reason I've always used the cheap calendars more than the expensive ones.
