What can I do to help her hair? Its all frizzy and matted at the bottom.
I've been a bad pony owner!

Thank you

Don't panic! Pony hair is remarkably resilient, what you mostly need is patience!

Use lots of conditioner, carefully comb out the hair and once it's untangled you could try using straighteners to defrizz it.

Oh okay! How long should I leave the conditioner in for? And could I use an iron instead of straighteners? If an iron will work, what should I set it at? (I've never used an iron in my life, my gran will be dealing with it  :P )

Don't use an iron!  Use a hair straightener on low settings.  Again, don't use an iron lol bad bad idea

Don't use an iron. You will melt the hair! Use a straightener on it's lowest possible setting. You can turn it up a tiny bit if it doesn't do much but don't let it go as high as you would for your hair.

I did use an iron on pony hair once and it worked very well. I put a wet piece of cloth between the hair and the iron though and put the iron on the lowest possible setting.
Good luck :) Im sure you will make it!

my straighteners only have the 200C setting, lol, but that works just fine. I take extremely small sections of hair, make sure it's wet and then do a quick swipe through the section with teh straightener. works wonders :)

For now you could just try using some conditioner in her hair and putting the tail into some boiling water. Not too far so she doesn't get water inside her, but it's worth a shot until you can get to the straightener. :)

I have washed her hair with boiling water and left the conditioner in for a while and have brushed out the knots. Im waiting for her hair to dry to see the results!

I ll second this...I actually have found it a good way to straighten tinsel...a damp pillow case with the pony hair between both sides of a damp pillow case...the iron on lowest possible...quick swipes but a firm press down and the key is not to let the head build up!

On your R Flash...as others say conditioner, straighteners, water and patience! Good luck...she ll be completely gorgeous and worth it in the end!

If you use a straightener put a damp towel between it and her hair to protect her!
