how soon before SDCC do they announce the exclusive? I thought it was closer to the actual event.....
It really rather shocks me that they don't do super hero style dolls for CC....like they did with Ghoulia....it just makes sense!

Well, considering Mattel is going to be doing announcements this week, I'd imagine sooner rather than later xD! Blog post had MH as a tagged thing, so here's hoping we get our doll announced. Not that I care, unless I got in on the orders online I'm outta luck anyway :<

I really hope it's not Wydowna. I really want her, but if she is this year's exclusive, the chances of getting her at normal price may be very hard. I remember last year when Scarah was being sold out super fast every day because Mattel had allowed other vendors to buy her from them (six at a time, per person IIRC) before the con doors opened for the general public.

I have a feelling people are going to be mad either way with the SDCC, If its something awesome like wydowna or slow moe/ ghoulia combo, then everyone is gonna be mad they cant get one. if its someone that they release a ton of but in some new awesome way people are gonna be mad. and if it is someone that no one wants people are gonna be mad.... exclusives like this almost seem like a lose lose for most of us (exception being the people who can get their hands on one then its a win win)

That's why I hope, in my interests, that it's Wydowna so I have no ill feelings about missing the exclusive (of course in the interest of you guys I hope she isn't! Even if I really think she might be /sobs)

If its Wydowna, I'm buying her no matter what.  Actually, I plan on buying 2 because I love her so much.  I'll sell some of my dolls to afford her at scalped prices.  Even if it's not Wydowna, I'm still going to try to buy the SDCC release because I seriously regret not owning Scarah:(

Matty Collector will put them online after the con, for retail. However the servers will be completely bogged down between people who want them and scalpers who will often use proxies and other cheaty methods to get more than one item.

Scarah has kind of grown on me so I'm happy she will be getting an I<3Fashion release. I hope SDCC isn't a doll I like so I don't have to deal with the aggravation of trying to hunt it down.
