2015 Annual Arena Card Swap

I love hearing about all the different types of cards people will be sending! I haven't gotten mine yet, but I'm still debating between handmade or buying. There are a bunch of vintage stores I plan to go to by next week, so I am hoping to find something great there! If not, I've already gotten some ideas for handmade cards =)

Ah Sorry!  I know extras dont are part of the trade, but for my own I always like to add some extras gifts when Im sending things, more if in the other side of the continent.

As far as the message goes I tend to add just a little holiday message.

I'm open to any kind of cards my partners feel like sending.

My cards will be store bought (per the usual)

I'm sticking to a nice localized card selection this year.   Meaning, it has to do with where I live locally, and is not a generic holiday card.  I just feel like being "local" this year, if that makes sense.

well i have my pretty cardstock all picked out, now i just have to decide if im going to draw ponies for cards or pick out other things from my partners interests. I think since this is a OT swap I might try the others. xD but I do love drawing ponies... ooooh too much choice!

Thats such a good idea, and I know that I personally love getting cards like that! I would do the same if I weren't itching to draw stuff haha.

It sounds like everyone is making and/or finding some fantastic cards!! I have 4 out of my 5 made!! One more to go I hope that my partners will like what I have created.

I am heading out to shop for cards! I don't think I'm going to make mine this year, since I'm so super busy with work and stuff... so I hope I can find some really cool ones for sale. I will, of course, draw in them and add stickers and stuff, though.

Edit: I didn't find any X-Mas cards for sale yet! I guess I'll have to do it later!

Ringwraith, that sounds like me last week looking for ornaments. Apparently I'm more "ready" for the holidays than the stores are.

Shutterfly is telling me my cards are still in production. Come on! I want to see them!

I had planned to buy some vintage style cards that doubled as advent calendars (just with pictures not candy or anything).  But when I was at the store today I found some beautiful cars that basically feature photos of things in my neighbourhood.  That might sound boring, but my neighbourhood is fairytail picuture book beautiful.  I thought they were too perfect not to use.
