Hey!
Does anyone have an idea on what they are worth? Never thought I’d say this but I have a double of Sunburst who I was going to list for sale soon :biggrin:

geesh there is no idea... was it confirmed these guys were like prototypes not put into production? So there's only like one other sunburst known? yay for finding wild nirvana these days and yeah I am tagging 'cause I would love to see pics, too :-)

Off the top of my head there are: three Ice Crystals (green stripe and 2 blue stripe), two Tornados, two Fireballs, three Sunbursts, one Thunder Could and one Lightning :)

Back to a PC, I have trawled the archives and it is SO hard to price these guys, I would suggest a tentative price of between $400-$1000. Ice Crystal sold for around $1000, BUT he may well have gone for a higher price because he is Ice Crystal!

Did you buy that lot of eBay? I just saw it fab if so! I just spotted the ice crystal with the blue streak if so good catch :)
Also if they were hers original maybe ask if they were bought in the uk? As they are still a bit unknown...

I believe an Ice Crystal (blue stripe) went for $600 ish on ebay. The auction did not mention him being Thai although I believe it did have a photo of his hooves. I only have Fireball (pictured in gallery) that I acquired for little.
That ebay lot is quite impressive. Is that Lightning Thai? I didn't know one of him had been found.
It'd be lovely to have a whole set!

Lightning is indeed Thai ^.^ and the first to b found. It's been speculated there must be one, it's just been a case of when one would be "found". I wonder how many are hiding in plain sight?
The lady who bought Thai Ice Crystal re-sold him for about $1000. She advertised the eBay auction here, the final price he sold for was mentioned in another thread.
I have seen the other Thai Fireball, he looks a bit different to your boy himmie, I think he had a harder life!!

I think I’ve found the auction listing - nice find. Huge congrats finding such a rare pony in the wild. That’s really something nowadays.

I thought the one in the recent listing appeared Thai. I just wanted to make sure that I hadn't missed an earlier one. Haha. I'm glad one has finally been found. (I guess I can make that a definite "want" on my list now.)
I guess I missed that Ice Crystal being sold. I recall the auction from a Canadian seller that did not realize he was Thai. Sadly missed out on him that time.
Does the Ice Crystal in the recent lot have a darker blue stripe than the one Ember had?

I hadn’t heard that theory before but I don’t think they are protos, I posted pics on my Instagram but will try and take a quick pic shortly on here :)

Yes it was me :) And hehe I thought exactly the same thing and already asked the seller the other day if they were her childhood ponies and if so where did she get them from but she hasn’t replied, one of the sunbursts had a £2 sticker on his side so I’m guessing maybe not!

Yes he is his stripe is on the inside of his mane :) Not sure about ice crystals stripe being darker i will need to find pics of embers, but will add a pic of the boys in a mo ;)

They look very similar, there are slight differences in body colour and texture.

I've seen a Thai Fireball and Thai Tornado at PonyCon, I can't remember if I've seen Thunder Cloud though?

PKW bet me to it but it’s mainly the streaks are on opposite sides (except fireball and 1 of the sunbursts as they show on both sides) also strangely Tornado is super squishy but the others are not. ;)

Pkw, you have definitely seen Thai Thundercloud as you helped persuade me to buy him at one Ponycon!
I paid £470 for him a few years back. He is far from mint, but I felt that was offset by having him in hand straight away/no postage/etc :)
