I haven't done the larger ponies, but I have taken apart the smaller mystery minis.. all that was needed for those was hot water.One of the customizers I talk to said that the larger ones are harder to put back together after they cooled down

That's helpful. Was kind of thinking hot water would be enough to loosen any glue in the parts/seams. Wasn't sure if it'd work on the glitters, too.

That's my post, yeah mine was rather intensive and included a table saw. It turned out though, that you can just boil them apart.
I boiled some larger Funkos in a pot on the stove to get the glue to loosen up and the plastic to soften somewhat-Just kept taking the pony out with tongs and trying until it was finally loose enough...
