Why this annoys me!

There was an article in the Daily Mail about a women who spent more than £20,000 on pony merch. However that's not the reason why the story upsets me.  The reason is because it seems like all that money seems to have come from benefits.  Now as a taxpayer of the UK this upsets me.  I've spent hundreds on pony merch, but I've worked hard to earn that money! Am I right to get so annoyed?
