I'm also currently "benched" at work, which means I'm currently without a specific project, and I'm just supposed to be working on independent web devel. projects (keeping up to date on new technologies and languages, updating my own personal sites, etc) xD

I do when it's slow & I'm on my breaks. My boss doesn't mind. She's normally FBing or Pinteresting.

I work third shift in a hotel. It's about as busy as you'd imagine.

I used to work at a hotel too! I worked all shifts. Night audit was nice because it was slow, but sometimes it was too slow. Working Front Desk at hotels isn't as fun as it seems with no weekends or holidays.

Guilty as charged. My android phone has the Arena bookmarked, and well, my company actually have somewhat relaxed IT policies- you can bring your own laptop in, but you can not connect it to the company network (the only thing they ask is that you give priority to official matters). And well, my phone does tethering- my telco provides free tethering with their phone data plans. Couple that with the slow days we've been having recently - just winding down a project and the next one hasn't even started...

I check the arena often at work cuz I don't really have to do much. Even though we aren't suppose to be fiddling with our phone on the job, lots of people do it anyway and the sups don't seem to care.
