I know a lot of us collect things other than ponies. Do you have any new acquisitions?
I got a new pen ^.^ Um, please excuse the dust and cat hair on my keyboard ^^;

I've had a thing for unique and silly pens since I was a kid. My mom got this one for me, and it's actually a 2-pack. It doesn't write very well and has blue ink but that's not why I collect them. Personally, I think it should have pink glitter ink :P

I found somebody who handcrafts sharkies, so of course I've ordered one!!! It will post when the crafter has a break from their hectic schedule, & when it arrives I'll add the pic

A bunch of different mangas ^^' I haven't actively been reading/collecting manga for a lot of years, but I got the bug a while back after watching some videos about newer series. I ordered A Sign of Affection on a whim, and am now caught up with that series, as well as adding a few other titles here and there :)
Andthat's the most recent collection thing I guess ^^' Haven't found any care bears lately, and other collections are out of the budget bracket at the moment ^^' I've been window shopping though, if that counts.

I'm planning to buy something new for my collection of die-cast toy cars, but I already made a resolve that my next purchase will be a black 1960s Mercedes-Benz, then a blue Renault Alpine and then maybe an IFA F9, and it's currently hard for me to find a Mercedes that would meet my expectations, so for now the collection's expansion has been put on hold.

I've put my pony collection on hiatus for a while due to an illness; my interest in pony collecting of late has been more about customizing than acquisition, and I haven't been feeling up to the task lately. So I've turned my focus toward American Girl stuff while I go through this because I figured it would be more about just collecting for me. Until the day I found myself drawing on eyelashes and filling in eyebrows with a Prismacolor pencil...I guess I can see where my appeal really lies!

BC, I used to collect pens when i was a kid too. Sadly I lost track of most of them.
I keep buying more headbands for some reason. i'm not sure if that counts as a collection. I think i have about 15 now.

Well... an embarrassing number of new sylvanians! The Husky family and the cow family (!!!!) will be joining my collection soon aaaaaaannnnnd it just so happens that the pre order for the fennec foxes opened today right after I survived a truly horrendous databases exam sooo they are on their way too :P

That new shark plushie is so cute, I love those guys! btw my sis has the same ikea sharkie you do, I got to cuddle it last weekend ^.^
I added to my Transformers collection, got the new Arcee figure. She's a tough one but I think they did good with this mold. I was on the fence about getting her but I finally pulled the trigger and I'm glad I did.

I got another new pen! It's a replacement for my main pen that I've used since 9th grade. The old one is a Pilot PHD and over time it evolved into the Dr. Grip. Refills for the PHD are hard to find so I just bought a Dr. Grip Center of Gravity pen. It's nice and heavy but evenly balanced. Looks awesome and writes like a dream. It's silver and clear. On the back of the packaging it said it comes in orange, but Amazon didn't have any.

I have my dad's pen that he got from work for 100% attendance all year long. It is partly gold but writes worth crap cause it needs a new ink refill inside it. It was a really long time ago when he got it it's still in its case as well. Is this Gravity pen a website or something that you can order different size ink from too?
Besides ponies I collect The Lion King I have dvds bluerays steelbooks & some action figures original & new..
I miss my original hyenas though I think I gave them away.

I added three new 8x10s to my autograph collection last weekend at my local comic con! Christina Ricci, Paige O'Hara and Robby Benson.
I love my autograph collection so much. I've met some pretty awesome actors whose characters have given me so much joy over the years. :D

I sold off a lot of my old stuff for profit or at the very least the price I once paid for, so I ended up with some excess money and after years (!) of not getting any action figures I ended up gifting this set to myself for Easter. I usually spend big holidays with my family but this wasn't the case this year so I decided I needed something to look forward to as some kind of Easter goodie.
I don't know if anyone here is into Marvel Legends, so just take my word that this set has been greatly anticipated and at the same time awfully distributed by Hasbro. It is also overpriced. I wasn't able to get it in my country for a not-so-crazy price, so I had to wait for a good international opportunity.
But I am still glad I got it because ever since the god awful MCU they keep on giving so many figures to MCU characters only. So seeing some accurate, comic-only rendition of one of my Marvel favorites (teenage Kitty Pryde) made me bite the bullet :lol: Getting the very first Meggan they ever made is a nice bonus, too.
I really hate Hasbro as a company these days, so buying something from them that's not on the secondhand market is outrageous for me ;)

:lol: the other day I just had a dream I found my 2 Hyenas in a water bucket outside or some sort of sink area full of water. they were in perfect condition but then I woke up. oh well... Must because I was looking for them on Ebay... that's I dreamed about them.

I've been getting back into Webkinz and have added them to my collection. :) I've been playing the reboot, Next, a lot more than the original, I've recently bought the new lion plush and I just got the Rainbow Retriever! Gunning for the redemption unicorn next. In the game, you can breed your Webkinz, and whenever you do, you have a chance to get a rare as a baby... that's how I got my Rainbow Retriever! You can only get these plushes through the game like this. 1000 RRs exist and 150 unicorns exist so wish me luck! :P
I'm getting some nice additions to my Rayman collection soon, and I plan to add one more grail item around my birthday. ;)
As for ponies, it's been slow, but I got some of the G4s I wanted recently. Looking for some of the other ponies on my list, but only at the right price...

I found four Fairy Tails birds yesterday! I keep checking thrift stores for ponies, and ponies dried up long ago, but I still check. And surprise! I found the fairy tails! And two were babies, which I’ve never had before. And, I just had my birthday so I treated myself to to shop Goodwill auctions and got myself some more pound puppies for my pound puppy collection.

I've been getting back into Webkinz and have added them to my collection. :) I've been playing the reboot, Next, a lot more than the original, I've recently bought the new lion plush and I just got the Rainbow Retriever! That's so interesting about the Webkins and the breeding in the game! I don't know much about Webkins; I have an elephant one that my aunt gave me as a housewarming gift like 12 years ago...she said having an elephant in your house is good luck! My stepdaughter was about 9 or 10 at the time and was enamored with it...'Ooh...you have a Webkins!' I didn't know at the time it was a 'thing', I had just figured it was a plush elephant. Recently my son received a lion one as a gift and I was surprised they were still around!

I...hmm...okay, this might sound weird? But I collect paper plates and napkins. Like l, Fred Meyer will sell holiday or season themed paper plates and napkins and I'll buy some. This collection started more by accident, when a friend gifted me two packages are different Spongebob SquarePants napkins...yet another collection of mine!...and I've just been adding to this hoard since. :blush: I feel kind of ashamed for it. Does anyone else collect paper plates and napkins? Edit to add: I recently added clearance watermelon plates to this collection.

^ I do actually have some napkins and paper plates. It's sort of a long story but to make it short - My sister wanted to redo the house in a tropical theme and for the "party" she was planning (in her head mostly :P ) she bought these fancy napkins and plates with palm trees and filigree on them. Due to reasons I won't get into, none of this ever happened. When she passed away, I was in the kitchen and opened one of the storage cupboards and the napkins and plates were in there, still wrapped in plastic. I took them and have them now. It's a sentimental thing rather than a collection.
You shouldn't be ashamed though! Most people collect something, sometimes it's a little weird, but that's what makes collections so interesting :)

Dinnerware can be soooo cute I don't blame you. :lol: Nostalgic for me, I would fantasize about having awesome birthday parties as a kid and I loved looking at party brochures...
You see cute plates, you buy them... now what? You can't just EAT on them... they're too cute, and then they'll get thrown out... gotta keep them safe, obviously. :sly:

I have a napkin collection from when I was a kid. Everywhere I went I took one napkin (or asked nicely…) and now I have a whole shoebox filled with over 30-year old napkins :lol: I can’t throw them away, they’ve been with me for so long. I still buy a lot of napkins, but now I tend to use them. If they are super cool or sweet I might keep one though ;)

I added a Gill Scott Heron CD to my collection recently. I very rarely buy them any more. I found some foxglove seeds on the heath recently and will add them to my plant collection. I haven't been out thrifting for ages and ages, but that may change!

I collect Sonic the Hedgehog merch selectively, older American Girl items, Calico Critters, Pokemon plush and some Nintendo things. But I'm actually working on selling most my G4 collection in favor of G1s/G3s especially the mane 6 stuff.

Got a new Odeco and Nikki doll today - Obake (ghost/monster) Nikki :frolic: Had my eye on this little kitty for a loooong time!
Also put in a pre-order for a Shattered Glass Flamewar Transformer, I'm a sucker for fembots and this gal is toooo cool, I love her "bikini" XD And her little pterodactyl pal is adorable. Gonna be a while until I have her in-hand (she ships out in November) but I'm really excited for her.

I paid for a DC Bombshells Batwoman statue (regular uniform) to add to my collection :lovey: She's the best Bombshell and I collect only her, having the statue was an obvious missing piece for the collection and she's in the mail!!

I got 3 Vaporeon figures in Spain, including a Remint Sleeping Vaporeon I REALLY wanted but was sold out in the UK!! Plus Remint Terranium and a Vaporeon keychain sitting on a water stone. I buy any Vaporeon thing I can find as I didn't have much merch of her during the original Pokémon craze so I'm happy to finally get it.
Also added a TINY version of Beanie Boo's Spirit the German Shepherd for my GSD plushie collection (I have the small, medium, jumbo and 'long?' versions already). I collect German Shepherd plushies as it's so rare to find them compared to other dog breeds like pugs, labs, collies, etc. If I find one that's clearly a GSD, I buy!
