unlucky ponies and pony items

do you ever have a pony or pony related item you just have some much bad luck with getting.
come share a story.

i have a few.
one is the silly silver hand bag to the G1 pony wear, iv bought and traded it so often and it usually gets left out of package, arrives damaged, i finally bought one (the last one) of a good pony friend of mine, it was dirty so when i cleaned it all the silver came of it COMPLETELY  .......... give up i say to my self.

one is the G4 wave 3 blind bag GoldenGrape boy, i kept on and kept on getting out bid some time later i finally won him payed heaps for shipping for such a small thing just to have the seller write the wrong address on the packaged, got refund went to another seller only for the package to get lost in the mail after waiting well over a month for it 

oh for goodness sake 

my other things are;
it took me 10 peachys to get a decent one and they are soooooooo common 

also the darn glittery blind bags, after months and months of trying to complete the wave 4 set and the rainbow target exclusive collection, because they dont sell them here in nz, they just keep on getting lost in the post or arriving damaged 

sorry for the rant BUT really?? why

any other pony peeps have things like this happen?

Hmmm....for a long long time it was Majesty...but the lovely Stern sent me a gorgeous one in a recent swap so I have finally managed to add the perfect Majesty to my collection.

At the moment its not so much bad luck as just a general inability to actually track down a couple of the items I am looking for - searching for years and years for an accessory is seriously frustrating [I have no patience for pony hunting ].

I think my only annoyed complaint right now is that every single time I find Rockin' Beat Ponies, their hair is chopped off and trashed.  I also don't have a crimping iron so I can't re-crimp the hair.  ARRRRRRRRGH!

Yes!  Sugar Apple - I missed out on her once because someone got in before me, then when I finally bought her (among other ponies) and the seller forgot to put her in the package!  It's the Sugar Apple curse.  Will she ever be mine?

If you need help with the blind bags I do have GoldenGrape and a bunch of the glitter series.

I've had similar luck with finding a monster high doll but I gave up and decided it wasn't meant to be.

I am still looking for ONE MINT GREEN FLOAT I only need that and the bow handle to complete the soda shop gen 1 set. I keep looking and looking and no luck yet.

You can always try doing small braids to crimp it! That's what I usually do.  There's just no way to justify buying a crimper to fix one ponies hair.

My bad luck pony is Sugarberry. I can never seem to find her without pindot mold without having to spend a fortune.

Also, for some reason, I am literally unable to find any of the G1 original six at thrift stores. I think the closest I got was a baity Peachy.

Really?  I'm cursed with Blue Belle's! Seems every time I get a batch of G1's lately, there's a Blue Belle in there.

I have Cotton Candy's coming out of my ears.  My last batch of baits had 2 of them and 3 Moon Dancers.

For me it was always g1 bluebelle. I couldn't find her concave counterpart until recently I almost gave up on it. ><: I also keep putting off buying Gypsy. I think it was never meant to happen yet shrugs.
