That's a good question!  I think I have one that looks like the one on the right but mine has some problems.  Mine is also more an orangey color too and I didn't know there was a pink and maybe orange one.  Almost looks like a varient but I could also see how if the plastic had yellowed that it might have turned that color too.  Anybody else have any clue for her?

It will be a yellowing of the plastic - when pink plastic yellows it goes an orangey colour. The question has cropped up before about Secret Wish and you can see a similar discolouration even on playsets like the roofs of the Paradise Estate and even with a couple of similar ponies - the G1 Sparkle Baby Firefly she often looks orange but she is in fact a pink pony.

Thanks that is what I thought sad to see it in a gen 3 pony though. I have glitter gen 1 ponies that are still good.

There was another thread a while ago about how glittery G3s have already started to degrade :S It is pretty sad, and people were reporting not just yellowing, but leaking of the plastic and also that they were becoming foggy, and all from people who took care of their ponies :(

But in this case, i actually prefer the orangey "version"

It looks like sun damage to me...the sun does horrible things to the translucent ponies like that :(

Maybe it's the type of clear plastic?
