I´ve noticed there is tutorials about washing a pony. But is there one about the hair. How to take care. Because one of my g1, I brushed but never washed or done anything. The hair doesn´t look so smooth anymore. Is there anything I can do, besides replacing?

I wash all my ponies' hair with shampoo and conditioner. As for flattening frizz, I haven't yet attempted it, although I've heard using a flat-iron on low works. Check with an expert, though, before you try it. :)

Hope this helps!

I also wash pony hair with shampoo and conditioner :) It does not harm the hair at all and can restore some of the softness. If the hair is frizzy, sometimes conditioner will help. If it does not, then I would go the flat iron route :)

I agree with the above there are a variety of things you can try before you have to rehair.
1) You can actually try just dipping the hair in boiling water - this loosens the nylon strands from one another and helps to de-tangle
2) A conditioner soak - i.e. soak in conditioner and then wrap the hair with saran wrap/cling film over night - rinse and shampoo
3) Flat irons to defrizz
