I don't think the price point is to be blamed. I mean things like the printing of the eyes, the colours...etc. These can be controlled. Someone at Hasbro wasn't good at his/her job, or the aesthetics department had a wonky eye. And for all the market research they had been doing, it did not help to make this line very sellable. Good workmen do not blame their tools, they need to admit their weaknesses and improve their skills.

I got mine when I lived in Brisbane, and if my memory didn't fail me she and the pink baby were Woolworths exclusives. I picked up quite a few of them for friends in Singapore every time I went super market shopping. Woolies didn't have a proper toy section, but you an find them randomly hung in a grapevine fashion by certain foods like they normally would for cheap packet crackers, except the babies were like $5.

I lose interest when I have the following, normally multiple factors taking place simultaneously:
-lack of space -lack of money -ponies getting too expensive -surrounded by collectors friends who are no longer interested in ponies

I do hate the distribution sometimes... my area right now the closest walmart is jam pack full of Pony POP and EQG. Plus the Mask and some of the Rainbow Power singles with the Tinsel stripe in the hair :/ As well as a few of the CE singles x.x (old stock much?)
I think even our Target had something similar going on, but I haven't been over there since before christmas
Tell me about it. We not only pay more living in New York City but our distribtion is like crap. Single ponies - $6 at Target Snowglobe ponies- $12.99, and we only ever saw them for a few times Princess Packs - $16.87, on discount they were $15!!! Then you drive to Long Island and they are $12.99 and $9.99 on clearence. Nurse pony never made it to the Walgreens in the city limits. I don't know....I think prices for everything in NYC is exploding soon.

Pretty Pop and PArty Cake are tie for me, but I went with Party Cake because I love her colours. Pretty Pop has a nicer pose.

I love Starflower, Tickle and Flutterbye, but I voted Flutterbye because not only does she have such a beautiful colour, she is also my fav character in the UK comics and storybooks.
Tickle - simply love the colours
Starflower - I always wondered who she was when I watched Escape from Katrina and have been wanting the pony ever since then. I also have a soft spot for blue ponies.

Oh exciting, princessluna and I might be able to make it, as long as there's nothing last minute to botch our plans.

Mine has purple eyes. Medley originally had blue eyes anyway, so even if it is faded, she's just staying true to being original

I used to call Dazzle Surprise "Razzle Dazzle" instead.
I also renamed So Soft Twilight to Miss Candle

Hi guys! I am commissioning someone to help me make a G4 Daybreak and want her symbols to be painted, not 3D. However, I need a reference for the artist to paint Daybreak's symbol. I can't seem to find it on Google but I know Daybreak was featured in a storybook or a calendar or something and there she is drawn with a clear picture of her butterfly symbol in 2D. If anyone has a scan of it, I'll greatly appreciate it!
