Are you going anywhere this season? Visiting family or going on a Christmas vacation?

We're not going anywhere. But I would love to visit my folks for Christmas. Uncles and aunts and cousins would be wonderful too. We haven't had a big Christmas get together for over a decade.

What about you?

I'm staying home for christmas and going to spend it with my immediate family (mom, dad, brother).  I like it best that way, it is more comfortable and familiar.

I'm stopping at home for the holidays, or if the weather permits then I may go hiking in the moors. My housemate is angling after spending the whole day in bed; evidently the pair of us aren't big on festivities. XD

We stay home for the holidays because almost all of our family was born and raised and still live in the area. I'll be spending Christmas morning with my mother, father, grandmother and hopefully my boyfriend! Then we go two towns over to my great-grandmothers for family dinner (or lunch really)  :)
I work the day before and after Christmas, I can't go anywhere anyway.

Depending on work I may or may not travel. Working retail sucks so I can't see my mom's side of the family like ever, especially for the holidays.

I'm not traveling, just staying at home with my parents. This is the first Christmas in 5 years I'm not working on Christmas eve, day and boxing day! So I'm planning on sitting. And doing nothing. I must admit I'm not big on festivities.

I don't know how to answer this.  Haha.  I just moved to Germany from America via Australia.  I've only been here 2 months, so I have  travelled most of the planet already. So for Christmas I'm not going anywhere.  I'm actually pretty excited that I'm here for Christmas.  So far, with the markets here, it's the most Christmassy place I've ever been.

However, I am moving again the week of New Years.  This time to England. Does that count?  It's not holiday travelling, but it's during holidays?

So somewhere between none and a lot depending on what you count.

I'm also spending holidays with family, but in my case, that means travelling about 130 miles across the UK to go home from London :) I'm actually looking forward to it a lot. I love London, and the Christmas lights are beautiful in lots of places, but it always gets mad at this time of the year and when it rains, you know about it. One of my friends (from Italy) was commenting on how there seem to be about three hours of daylight at the moment! London is kinda grey in the winter.

I am going home next week with any luck. Term officially finishes on Friday, and I don't have a class timetable but I can work from home on my PhD stuff so I'm going back for the break. :D

I know there are ponies waiting for me too ;)

Staying home. Too many creatures to really travel.
That's often my problem -- when I do visit my mom I pile everyone into the car (two dogs and a cat fit into one crate and one special seat belt) and we go on a big family trip. ;)

IF I go to my mom's house it'll be about 150 miles one way. I might be pet sitting, though, and that might make traveling difficult...

Staying put.  We just bought our first house this summer (and it was two states away, so it was a major move), so we want to spend the holidays here.

We did have my in-laws here for Thanksgiving, and my dad and my brother are planning on coming for Christmas.

We'll stay at home as usual, we don't have money to afford going anywhere that would worth it.

Staying at home.  We've never traveled this time of year.
