I've never seen the appeal in MIB to be honest. I know everyone has seperate likes and dislikes, I'm curious why those of you who collect boxed ponies like to. I can understand wanting them to be protected and kept nice, but I can do the same with mine and keep them on their shelves unboxed. I like to play around with my ponies and mess with their hair, in my opinion you can't really do that with MIB, keeping them boxed makes them strictly decorations and only to look at.
I'm curious why you guys enjoy doing that. ^^

I love those bleachers you can put ponies on to keep them all visible! Where do you guys find those? Or do you make your own?

Happy new year, for those of you celebrating it today. I want to see your pony collections!  Pony shelves, pony rooms, everything you have in your collection! If you want to share, that is. xD I'll start off and share mine. I left it big so you can zoom in and look at my ponies if you want, that is if they aren't hiding... I say if you really want her and that's what you want to do with her, go for it. ^^ The seller said they were fine with it, and she would be -your- pony to do whatever you want with. Plus, I don't think G3, especially Minty, one of the more popular ones, will become rare anytime soon. xD

Not like G1 was perfect.
G1 wasn't perfect, but it didn't have quite so many errors. There were screwups for all the generations, the occasional error happens and can't be helped, but -this- many? And as for my post above about the really hideous and odd ponies being released, I guess there were some pretty weird ones for the rest of the generations, too. I mean G1 even had that one pregnant pony and those Teeny Pony ones that looked like they ran into a wall and squished their faces...

I must luck out because I haven't had a pony with a mistmatched head yet. O.o Although I do have Applebloom and her neck is like a millimeter too big for her body. I didn't care too much about that, easily covered by her mane. And a couple of my ponies have stringy, greasy feeling hair. -That- I don't like.
I will say though, there are a lot of pretty crappy looking ponies being put out. That Twilight Sparkle with the moveable legs, the "design your own" Rainbow Dash, pink Celestias, all that. Do not like.
At least they finally did change Celestia to white. Wish they'd fix the rest.

DJ-PON3 is a fan made name. Not the official name which is apparently Vinyl Scratch. Same with others ^_^
I'm pretty sure it's canon that DJ PON3 is her stage name and her other name is Vinyl Scratch. They use both.
I think so, too, I bought a box of ponies the other day with her in it and on the back she was listed as DJ PON-3.

Why do a few of the G4's have two names? Like for example,  Pony Hooves/Ditzy Doo, Dr. Whooves/Time Turner, DJ Pon-3/Vinyl Scratch, etc. I think I heard once that before they were given official names, the fans gave them names, but I'm not sure if that's true and wanted to know the real reason why. If that is true though, I call them by the "fan names", lol.

Ugh some of these ponies are just hideous.  Although I really do like G2s and that pink psychedelic pony up there with the guitar... I must find out who he is!  I have two Beddy Bye Eyes but I think they are hideous and scary. And I loathe the big headed "G3.5" ponies. I try to pretend they never existed.  Only G1, G2, G3, and G4 in my little world. Oh! One more. G3 Cheerilee... At least in G4 they changed her appearance slightly but she looked like a simplified Cherry Blossom and that's all.
