I saw 2 of the new Shadow High girls at Target.  I'm not sure what the prices are because Target was literally sticking toys wherever there was a blank spot and a lot of the shelf tags didn't match the toy above it.

I don't suppose the Uk will see these for a while yet, but those are two that I'm particularly interested in, so it's good to see them as they're actually being released

I saw the new Shadow High dolls too!  I put a lot of effort into resisting them.  My doll shelves are stuffed and I need to think about this.


I will say I still prefer series one Shadow High.  They look good in everything.

I like Heather but have avoided buying her because I would want to play with her hair, and at the same time, wouldn't want to mess up the colour split. I need a loose one I think.

Natasha is still one of the prettiest RH/SH dolls overall. I also like Nicole but I LOVE the colours on some of the others, like Uma.

I am assuming it will be summer before we see this new line here. I am still working through the dolls I got before Christmas though (there's Harley who I got with the voucher, and I also picked up some loose ones, I'm taking my time to go through and pretty them up). So it's ok with me if they take time to come out. I have just about enough space cleared on my shelf for the dolls I have,  we'll see after.

I don’t collect these but I find them super nice! I am definitely going to try and hunt down Zooey’s clothes/accessories so I can put them on my Novi Stars. 🥴

I found a few more of the Shadow High dolls today.  I haven't seen Zoey.   I wonder if the two Targets in my area haven't got her in yet or if she sells out as soon as they put her out.  I also saw Rexx but forgot to get a pic of him.

Zooey is fantastic in person.  I almost bought her today, but changed my mind, because I could only buy one thing and was focused on finding something else.  I'm sure she will be coming home to live with me soon.

I think she's really pretty, though I will probably want a loose one without the hair styling. It'd be a shame to take it down, but I like to mess with their hair.

...I do wish her name wasn't spelt so awkwardly though. I have no idea what's wrong with Zoë. It's like nobody can use an umlaut any more. A name should never emulate "gooey" and that's that.

It's possibly the most twitchy name for me since Lila, who is apparently from Tokyo but has a name with a letter Japanese doesn't use.

(I've never cared for the "Zooey" spelling either. Zoë/Zoe or Zoey, sure, but that extra "o" just looks so awkward...)

Just a note that I haven't seen them in person, but Amazon UK (overpriced) and Smyths (somewhat pricey) now list all the new SH dolls on their sites, but not in stock yet. Smyths says they should be in stock this week. Suspect larger city stores may have them ahead of our little one out here in the sticks

I've never cared for this spelling either, but I think it might be a US thing actually.
I know it's been around since I was very young in school, there was a Zooey in one of my classes as a young child so that's why I remember that.

Speaking of Zooey-
this doll was what got me into SH/RH, and I've been waiting for her for *so long.* I preordered her the second I'd heard she dropped on Amazon, even!
I don't frequent the Arena as much as I should, so I haven't posted about her, but I am SO EXCITED about her. She ties with Harley Limestone as my fave SH/RH doll. I kind of feel like she completed my collection of them? I have all the ones I've ever really wanted badly enough to actively pursue. (there's a LOT I passively like or think are beautiful but won't try to go out of my way to buy) Unless something crazy comes out soon that really gets my attention.
