I think the Furbobs count. I want them too!

I'd love toys of the cartoon characters like Knight Shade, the witches, Tirac, the bees (I would kill for a Sting toy!), etc. Definitely a missed opportunity there.

 BlackCurtains, thanks for the links, I had done some checking on the wikipedia page before, with titles that could have been that, no luck, perhaps I need to be more thorough.
I will also check the youtube video.
For some reason I do have it in my mind as a mini series, so you may be right and it was a movie or tv or straight to video movie.

Taffeta's comment got me to thinking about how in the early to mid 80's Nickelodeon in the US had a lot of anime series that they showed such as The Adventures of the Little Prince and The Mysteries Cities of Gold among others.

Hobby Lobby is having a sale this week, 40% diamond art kits both in store and online.  I picked up a few yesterday.

My gripe today is that there are too many options for college. If art isn't viable in the future I will become an attorney, but there's just so much out there I might not like it.
