Questions about G3 Easter ponies

Just been wondering about my Easter Toola Roola and Cheerliee since I've been cataloguing my collection over at the Ponydex. Looking them up, it seems that they were sold as standalone ponies, but these two I bought as Easter egg sets. They came in a box with a normal sized Easter egg, instead of the extra sweeties you'd normally get! Am I the only one who remembers them? Nothing on Strawberry Reef or My Little Wiki seems to reference them!

Also, they're both marked as 'Easter 2008' ponies, but I know I bought them on consecutive years. Some kind of odd UK release, maybe?

I don't know much about them personally, but the versions with the eggs are mentioned on the rereleases encyclopedia as being international exclusives:

According to that site, the single US versions and the international Toola Roola were both released in 2008, but international Cheerilee wasn't released until 2009.

In other countries they were on a card with an easter basket shaped bubble.

I am sure Sebby is spot on with that year split...as I remember getting the Cheerilee and I am certain she was 2009.

The G3 Easter page has been updated   I had forgotten Cheerilee came with an egg too...    Hopefully I have them all now, but please let me know if anyone spots any missing.
