I have wondered this in the past. I think it is very possible, esp. with the Dream Valley site gone from my little pony world. That had a lot images that were great for IDing items.

Hi all. Thank you for responding. I agree this is an important topic, and it is a sensitive one too. This is why I said hats off to the seller of this. I think these (and a lot of other replicas on Etsy) are incredible. It is truly amazing what 3D printing (or molding) can do now a days. However, sadly, even the best of folks might forget that these were not original when they go to sell or trade them later. Thus, I am in the camp that should be some type of way to distinguish real Hasbro accessories from custom 3D printing/molding. Post Merge: May 25, 2020, 08:57:42 AMI wish we had a list of all the creators who have made reproductions. 1) identification reasons, and 2) if you really really really want/need a repro piece, where do you go? who do you buy from?
lovesbabysquirmy, I just saw this. I guess we were typing at near the same time. Your idea would be awesome. I wish something like that existed.

Hi all. I liiiiiive Back from not being on the boards for a very long time (several years). As someone who is stepping back into this pony world again, I was browsing Etsy. Some of these custom accessory items are truly amazing replicas of the real thing. For example, this is a CUSTOM wand: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginHats off to the seller of this (which is not me). However, I am wondering how could someone tell this is NOT actually the Hasbro version later on for selling or trading? There are several other things on Etsy that look like great replicas too. I just happened to post this one. In the future, I would not want folks to be be duped thinking that they have the real version, when it is a custom version instead. Thoughts?

Hi all.
I have not been part of the pony world for a very long time. My real life has gotten in the way of my other passion (MLPs). I lot has happened to me over these past few years.
However, I am trying to get back into the swing of things, and I am starting off with a BIG for sale post.
I have not had time to fully organized and take detailed photos of what I have for sale, but I wanted to make sure that everything was at least pictured. If you are interested in items, I can get you better photos.
Here is the link to my items for sale https://www.dropbox.com/sh/4bu884wztwz4so2/AAD_kw1sL0fybkjpPzWjK7gLa?dl=0

Sorry. I have unfortunately been away from ponies since the fair. It is actually a wonder to me how I even managed to go to the fair this year. With my hectic real life, I have not even had time to unpack from the fair yet. I taught summer school session for the first time in my entire teaching career. I not only did this, but I went all out. I taught the maximum credits teaching load we are allowed to have in the summer. Needless to say, this was quite challenging for me. To top it all, with all of the meetings before we school started in the fall, I barely had any break in-between these two school sessions. Now, fall semester is in full force. This has left me going I really did not know how hard this teaching schedule was going to be either. However, I am starting to get into the semester rhythm. So, I should have some time soon. Thank you for time in doing this for me. I will try to get caught up on my pms this week, because I see now that I have quite a lot to catch up upon in the pony world. Thank you for your understanding everyone.

I have 100% complete, very lightly used condition mommy kitty and mommy bunny sets with the boxes that are also in good condition. And I have a MOC playful persian for sale as well. It has some wear but nothing horrible.
HI, thank you for posting on my want list. At this point, I am only buying items that are actually posted on the want list. I am not really collecting MOC or boxes for the pet shops. I am tooo tempted to open stuff.

Hi. I am wondering if someone on this board does this? I would like a jpg to turn into a vectored art file, so that it can be expanded. I am wondering if someone does this, and how much generally does this cost?
