Hi all, Hard to find any info on this so hoping a friendly soul will help out... I booked a trip to Italy recently, and it dawned upon me I may have a chance for international G1 pony hunting!! I would love to schedule in some pony hunting into our itinerary but I'm not sure where to look. Are flea markets in Italy a good place to search? Most stuff I read online is focused on vintage clothes. I do not need amazing deals (just don't want to be ripped off) or rare finds (I only have 1 italian!)- just a colorful plastic souvenir. My trip's only Sunday will be in Rome. Does anyone have any suggestions, perhaps a good market? Or, is it not worth my time? Likewise, has any luck, or made similar time, searching on an international trip? (I imagine it's a little easier for those already in Europe )

I would have to dig through my collection to check but I don't think i have a soft Party Time (but that pony has its own issues with the colors changing) (I have about 4) or Sweet Stuff (I have about 3). I have not checked out the glue for the eyes that closely on them.
Next time I get my TE's together I am going to have to document this
I actually had a very soft Party Time, buttery soft. She also had no regrind beside a small spot, and a vivid pink stripe. Unfortunately, about 40% of her body was covered in sharpie. I tried to bleach it, and she came out with regrind AND hard!

Yes! It was featured on fox news in 2004? I think. Back then we drove up there and bought about 20 ponies... they were much cheaper then and each one included a free MLP brush from a MLP brush box. those were the days!

I have not bragged in ages But when you've waited a lifetime for a find like this... This summer I have found a Wave Runner, a Sparkler, a long-haired Bowtie, a WW Skydancer and a FF Butterscotch in this one thrift store near me. (I have also found a Silky Slipper at another thrift store.) This makes this summer the absolute best summer for me in probably a decade. I have collected since around 2001. 3 of those went to my BFF's collection, because I already had them-- or I take them as upgrades and send her the one from my collection. Usually they are $0.50 to $2. Imagine my surprise when I walked into the thrift store yesterday and saw my little ponies in the dreaded behind-the-counter section... It's never good news to see anything you want in the expensive section! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginOne bag was marked 49.99 so I chalked it up to people thinking everything is worth a lot because bronies. I asked to see the bags and tried to look at the prices but the guy informed me it was all 4 bags for $50. High priced but what I found in the bags had me shaking... Lots of people find good stuff all the time but this is definitely the best I've ever found!! visitors can't see pics , please register or login

TRADED! Off to a happy home Volks YoSD Kasumi with custom face up. Very cute girl! She has yellowing, even and normal looking. No significant damages. No box or papers but authentic, has head plate. I have pictures of her default faceup which I wiped to replace. Eyes and wig included. Price is $200 shipped in US or make an offer. ALSO interested in MLP stuff! G1s only, particularly Lemon Treats, Mint Dreams, SS Crumpet, Baby Dancing Butterflies, etc but ponies I'm missing is here.

I say no. He looks pretty nice, especially in color. He's nicer than the one in my collection at the moment-- I think. If you decide to bait him though, I'd love to take his tail off your hands.

I made something like this too. It's a giant checklist where an x next to the pony name calculates the number of ponies you have while a o calculates what you do not. I have US and MO done but haven't had much time to work on it. I would love to swap ideas with you.

I miss the beautiful, artistic fair exclusives. I wish SDCC and Fair were separate still.

Did anybody get any from the Inside Out set? I'm skipping that set because A) I haven't seen the movie yet and I don't know who I like best. And B) next month is LILO & STITCH!!!!!

I MAY have.... visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI was so disappointed to miss out on The Little Mermaid. I wanted several, but alas, I was late. The following weekend I checked 6 Disney stores and-- nothing. Right now I have Mickey, Goofy, Donald, Perry, Chip, Dale, Thumper, Dumbo, Buzz and Bullseye along with Joy and Sadness.

Just 22 days left on the preorder! Please check us out. And if you pledge now, you don't pay until the campaign is finished in August-- and only if we're successfully funded! If we don't make our pledge goal-- this little guy probably won't be produced.

I'm in WDW for the Frozen Summer Fun party at Hollywood Studios this week. They set up a 'Wandering Oaken's Trading Post"... and they had HUNDREDS of disney store classic Elsa/Annas! No Hans or Kristoff though.
