Nayru - My first pony custom (fakie)

I recently joined a contest called 'save the ponies' where we were to customize a fakie of our choice.  I've never done this before, but I have been curious to try for a while now (there are a lot of beautiful customs in this community!).  So I joined...
 
Meet the fakie... I'll call her Lemongrass, haha.

She didn't look great to me... not at all.  So, I thought it would be fun to attempt sculpting, chopping, etc on this one.  After all, if it didn't work out the way I'd hoped, it wouldn't feel as big a loss to me (although, I was finding her face/head shape was growing on me)

I couldn't stand her rear end, so I chopped it.  Her horn placement bothered me, so I made a new one.  And her ears... well... you'll see.

I LOVE her!  I designed her after The Last Unicorn... what I thought would happen if one of the unicorns decided they wanted to stay in the ocean and make it their new home.  I named her Nayru after the Goddess of Wisdom in the Legend of Zelda series (she was always associated with water, blue, etc).  I would love to attempt another custom but with dolly hair instead of sculpted hair.  If I can find more pony fakies like this, maybe I should attempt making Farore and Din as well!  That would be neat (but then I'd want to add more 'blue' to this one as she is more silver/grey than blue).
 
I would have to attempt a few things to improve on the sculpting... some of it has a less than stellar finish, but I'm sure that will come with practice.  I'm just happy she's done and I'm pleased with her!
