Was it mentioned at all? If it wasn't I would definitely say something. Getting a new face up can be costly if you get a good face up artist.

No it wasn't mentioned all that was said was there was no yellowing. I've sent them a message so I'll see what they say.

So I just bought this doll head off ebay. And when it arrived i noticed a patch of the face up is missing. I checked the photo on the listing and you can make it out but you'd only be able to notice it if you knew it was there as the picture isn't great quality.

Am I just being picky? Don't know if I should say something.

Thanks brightberry I'm really pleased with her!
Cazz, what doll is that?  She's gorgeous! <3

Thanks :) She's a Luts 2012 winter event with a nomyens face up. I actually got her on an impulse (she was a gift from my husband but I picked her) because I wanted a doll for Xmas and I'm so pleased I did, I love her more than I thought I would!

These two are my favourite dolls (granted they are my only dolls but I do love them both) not a great photo I just did it quickly while they were on their shelf. I have an 18 month old who's very interested in them!

I thought it would be a lot less than that, that's why I was keeping her. Looks like she's not safe from the purge now!

Thanks Pkw  :)  just out of interest how much would a rehair piggy cotton candy (normal symbols) be worth (you rehaired her a few years ago) ?

Gave her wig a cut and made her a dress. I'm so smitten but just can't think of a name! Here she is relaxing.

I was browsing eBay this weekend and on impulse ended up buying lati green coco. I'm so pleased I did! She's my first bjd and I'm really smitten. I don't have any clothes for her I like (hopefully I'll be making some this weekend with my mum) and I've ordered a new wig from etsy.
Anyway here she is  (I don't have a name for her yet)

I've spent along time trying to convince myself I didn't need a bjd but I've finally given in and got one on a layaway. However I was on eBay and ended up buying a minifee shushu head. Does anyone know if DOA, doll leaves or impldoll bodies would work? And which colour would be a match the head is apparently evenly yellowed.

DOA?  Which company is that?  The only DoA that I know of is Den of Angels.

From what I've been able to find, MiniFee heads can hybrid with both Doll Leaves and Impldoll Young bodies.  And Impldoll does resin matching, so you can send them the doll's head cap or face plate and they'll match it.

Sorry I meant AOD angel of dreams. Thanks for the info. I'll definitely check out the resin matching that impldoll does.  :)
