SAME. I remember them the most from my childhood, those two movies and Flight of Dragons and The Hobbit. But TLU and MLP I couldn't get enough of!

Thank you ^_^ Yes! That was a happy accident, lol! I kept it though :) Seemed appropriate, like some kind of dawn magic.

Thank you! I've seen a lot of TLU art and it just seems right to include either the butterfly or the red bull. The butterfly seemed to better fit the G1 MLP vibe.

Thank you so much! I loved the idea of her walking through the woods at dawn.

I am thinking about doing another illustration of her with blue and purples, like when she's in the forest at night :)
