Sorry that's happening SB, that's not fun for you to have to be dealing with. Maybe you could just keep them, if it were me, I'd be thinking, can I put up with the lack of hair, or would I rather risk it and maybe get a better doll or one with wonky eyes and worse hair? That's what I'd be asking myself, good luck deciding, it's not an easy one.

I have noticed thin plugs becoming quite a prominent issue lately.

Mattel's probably just trying to use less time and materials when making the dolls to meet demand. :P

I've decided not to send them back. It's just not worth the trouble, especially since I'll probably have the same issues with the replacements. I'm guessing that's what they were hoping, since if I don't go through all the trouble of sending them back, they won't have to send out replacements.

I hope this issue with the thinly rooted hair isn't going to keep being more common. I checked all my other dolls and most of them I couldn't even see their scalp if I tried.

If they slowed down their constant flow of releases, I'm sure they'd save more time adding better quality control to their dolls and root them better without having to worry about having the new releases prepared to be released.

Yes, day of the dead skulls have the name of the person they represent when they were living written on them. So in life, Skelita was a girl named Katrina.
