...what to do?

 :cry: I don't even know where to begin. My trademe account is never logged out but I never expected this would happen. My sister listed some items without my permission and there was a "glitch" she says and it listed twice. One was snatched with a buy now and the other was bid on....But I knew nothing about this at all. Now I want to know what my best course of action is. I emailed trademe but should I refund the person who paid for it and explain I know nothing about it?

I asked my sister to help me but she said she had too much of a headache to help me deal with it which is funny because she's given me a BIG headache  :cry: What should I do?

Can you cancel the auction with bids on it? Maybe just let the person know the item is no longer available and that the listing was a duplicate?

Then sell to the buy it now person and keep the profits to cover the headache your sister gave you.

Well, as long as she still actually has the item to mail out anyway.

I agree with Maniah about canceling the bid.  It seems like the easiest solution. 

And I understand that your sister says she has a headache but she created the situation.  Therefore she should try and help resolve the issue considering she used your account without permission.

Thanks very much for the advice :( I'll tell the person what has happened and get my sister to sort out the problem.

Oh, prince... and if I recall, this is not the first time she's caused you a problem on trademe?

Yep. Log out, AND change your password to be on the safe side!! Tell her to use her own bloody account, or make one - it's not that hard!  XD

If the duplicate auction has been paid for, hopefully the buyer will be understanding if you both fully refund them and send an explanatory email. If the money wasn't paid directly to your account, the tricky part might be getting the cash out of your sister!  The other thing too, is the success fee, but I think you should be able to request a refund of it all going well  :)

Thanks Marlin. I'll send an email to both buyers explaining what happened. I asked her (again) and she said "can't you resolve it?" XD How can I if I don't know anything about it? I have contacted trademe asking for help so hope they get in touch soon

I'll know now to log out.
